gjphilsaint Posted 2 July, 2009 Share Posted 2 July, 2009 Atleast any takeover doesn't quite look dead in the water just yet... But I was thinking, I realise the club can't sell season tickets yet, but surely they can put tickets for the Ajax game on sale. It may not be a huge amount of money but surely at this crucial time every little helps? Insurance to be able to stage game... licence? perhaps.. perhaps not? No licence.. no game??? dannysfc Posted 2 July, 2009 Share Posted 2 July, 2009 So I Am Now Starting To Really Think That Are We Actually Going To Get Taken Over And Didn't Mark Fry Say That It Had To Be Done By Tomoz As He Will Then Think Of Other Options Or Is That Just Me ?! mulletsaint Posted 2 July, 2009 Share Posted 2 July, 2009 Yep. And one then asks why is that not there on their OS anymore......... Now all we need is an ex SLH Board member to pop up and say - yes that is definitely the same Richard Fry who sat in on our Board Meetings, or perhaps an ex SMS employee. personally I am pretty sure it is one and the same, good work guys I see you lot have been doing some detective work. this link is pretty handy for looking at now defunct or amended web pages. http://www.archive.org/web/web.php Might help you find out something interesting. saint_stevo Posted 2 July, 2009 Share Posted 2 July, 2009 For not responding to the likes of you, for a start. Stevo...what have you got against your fellow fans exactly, does it give you a kick. The Farmer, was doing this forum a service, one, that a couple of weeks ago, you lapped up. That said, like a pack, you and a few others, have turned on him/MLT and TL........neither deserve it IMO. You may find humor in what you do now........but think on fella......it could be your turn one day. I have nothing against my 'fellow fans' as you put it. I had a PM from The Farmer early last week and we have exchanged a few and i have nothing against him, but i still don't thank him for anything. The only person i have anything against is TL, for coming on ere and spouting empty promises. Nothing about any of this is humorous.

Viking Warrior Posted 2 July, 2009 Share Posted 2 July, 2009 Arts post Re Farmer I have read Art's post with interest and I guess there were a few abusive post directed at Farmer. I maybe a tad guilty as I certainly made a comment about giving him a wide berth in the future but that was more about the forever saints site and a particular little underground creature that frequents this site on a regular basis. Anyway . I have sent a PM to farmer apologising for my comments if they were deemed as abusive.
Viking Warrior Posted 2 July, 2009 Share Posted 2 July, 2009 Talking od abusive posts, I have been thinking about the sudden suggestions that both Pinnacle and the Marc Jacksons Takeover offers are back on the table if need be. Both have stated this to day Given the abuse all these parties have recieved in recent days you would have to ask why would they want to come out and state they are still interested knowing full well they would be in the line of fire for even more abuse. My theory is that a couple of things have happened, 1st the back tracking and Clarification by the football league. Why could they not say saints were not to be deducted further points last week or even before that? secondly has someone had a word in Mark Fry's ear about wanting to much for the club when in reality its not worth 15 million and perhaps he has realised this a intimated to previous interested parties that he may have been seeking too higher price and was scaring parties away Is it just coincidence that both pinnacle and MJ come back into the equation within such a short time of each other. I think not. Maybe The goal posts have been narrowed to ensure a more level playing field. I just don't believe MF and MJ would want to set them self up as stool pidgeons yet again. Mike, I think they both should just take a back seat for a while and let the present negotiations end. If there is no sale, then by all means, if they have definite backers come forward, but for now they are just a distraction.

Both have stated this to day Hopefully this is the clearest indication that the Swiss/ANOther bid is near completion. Both the liars are looking to save face knowing full well that they will never have to carry it through. Jackson couldn't get out quick enough when Pinnacle failed, his story about 'being rushed' is pure Jackson bullsh*t. Lynam and Fialka are just bullsh*tters full stop. spain saint Posted 3 July, 2009 Share Posted 3 July, 2009 (edited) No apology from Gingeltiss etc for me either. rubbish In all sincerity, I am very happy that it appears that Guided Missile and Saint Stevo have been proved right! I have had a number, a large number, of instances of being wrong in my life, largely due to the large size of my mouth and the small size of my brain, but, given my deep love for Southampton Football Club, my passion, on this occasion, swamped my judgement. That judgement seems to have been wrong and Mr. Fialka and his North London friends don't appear to have access to the £14M that will save our club, together with an invisable investment plan that will help put the club back in the Premiership. I apologise, unreservedly to Mr. Missile and Mr. Stevo for the abuse that I have posted and hope that by supporting the club when it is taken over, I will be able to make amends. Finally, I was made aware that I called Mr. Missile a "attention seeking troll". This deeply upset one of our posters who is married to a black lady and has mixed race children. He believes that that comment makes me the worst type of racist, one that didn't know he was one. I am very sorry to him and to Mr. Missile if they found the term offensive and racist. Please forgive me in the future for any words I use that also rhyme with offensive terms. I hope that in the spirit of reconciliation, all those that thought Mr. Missile and Mr. Stevo were "Trolls" join me in apologising.... Perhaps I should start my own humble pie thread.........mmmmmmmmmm....... I wonder! Edited 3 July, 2009 by spain saint
