Well the blame for that lies clearly on the plate of Mr Wilde. It his his s hit or bust tactic that spent every penny of the overdraft at the start of the play-off season.

Minus the outgoing olayers it added up to around £3m spent by Wilde :D

The problems came with signings like Saganowski, Euell, Davies, Safri and their wages.

A multi multi billionaire is in our office at the moment for a business meeting.

He is French though so I guess you can't have everything.

If I get a chance I'll ask him if he likes football.

If you don't ask you don't get!

I have a rumour. A new rumour. And it's about the Swiss bid...

...ooohh, Can I? Can I? Can I?

I'd love to post it, but if it's anywhere near true then I don't want to scupper it!

Actually, what am I saying, it's about as likely to be true as Michael Schumacher being unveiled as the Stig on BBC's Top Gear!!!?!!!

Let's play 20 questions....

Is it a positive rumour?

Can we not just agree that everyone involved in running and financing the club over the past few years bears a bit of the blame, that no-one bears all the blame and that we should just bury this whole sorry mess and try to look forward?

Only once we've agreed who gets which bit and whose bits are bigger than others and if some of the bits we've given to some should be split with someone else to make more bits and whether we need to add some pieces to the bits!! :)

I was about to post yesterday but was unable to. I would like to express my sheer disgust at the teatment of Spencer Farmer whom I have always found to be open and up front in all his dealings with myself and with others.

As "The Farmer" he keep us all informed and updated us with answers to questions submitted to Tony Lynam and the Pinnacle people. He informed us long ago that he was responsible for Pinnacles website, it's a service he provides to his clients so there is nothing sinister or crooked in him so doing.

He hasn't lied or deceived the supporters, just acted as a go between between them and Tony Lynam, Pinnacle's representative and negociator for their consortium in making their bid for the Saints.

I would therefore request people lay off and get their facts right before slating and accusing the man who only wished to give insights into what was going on. Without his updates, without his possible insistance on Tony Lynam himself updating the forum, we would have known "F" all about what was going on. We wouldn't have had the information or see the confusion going on behind the scenes. He, as well as the likes of Matt Le Tissier have been duped, deceived and lied to and people should look for the real culprits and not the messengers who updated us all.

There are maybe some who have taken umbridge or this attitude towards the man due to his past creating ForeverSaints and his position with regards to Keith Legg. It was something I spent much time in discussing with him over the issue. Keith Legg spent the best part of ten years providing a service to Saints Supporters, the likes of which have not been seen since, and, perhaps will never again be seen. To date, I have not found another to have met such high standards, Like many, Keith too was duped in supporting people he believed had the best interests of the club in their hearts.

Spencer Farmer was always open and straight in his views as he has been of late over the Pinnacle affair. Maybe some would view it as Spencer's karma for his treatment of Keith Legg, to have been taken in also. Time will tell. One thing I don't wish to see is another genuine supporter being hounded off the internet and providing others with a service and then treated so dispictable.

For me, the Karma is being played out on the club supporters for a trait that has become nowadays so common, but which in days gone by, had nothing to do with the Saints supporter base. We were, until 5 years ago known as the best supporters in the country. This cannot be said today.

"You reap what you sow" and indeed many have sown all that they are now reaping in the demise of our beloved Saints. The day when we once again come together, once again unite and have respect for one another, then once again this once great club will move forward. "None so blind as those who refuse to see." "The Blind leading the blind into the mire, all because none will open their eyes, none will smell the coffee. We were and can be a great club and supporter base once again, so lets start building and finish with continuous destruction.

Like I said at the start, I am disgusted at the stance taken by some members of our Supporter Base.

Just don't use the term "cheese eating surrender monkey" ... i.e. "Do you like football you cheese eating surrender monkey"

Could offend and may scupper the deal.

...Okay, So. I have heard a rumour - from someone I trust implicity but also know to be a bloody good wind-up merchant.

It is a ridiclous and unlikely tale that I do NOT believe one iota, however I feel it best to share, so it can be dismissed for the nonsense it clearly is.

The clue was rather heavy-handily put in the original post.

Swiss based consortia is meant to include former fomula one world champion (and 'not-the-stig') M Schumacher...

...a tax break for him apperently ?!?!

See, absolute tosh. But the more I have been playing it over in my mind all day, the more it makes sense and I felt the need to share. It's the heat, it must be.

Hmmm

The Swiss were around from Day One

Mark Fry mentioned a household name

Pinnacle found a man in a house

MJ found (according to some) no names

That leaves a household name that was around weeks ago who hadn't popped up out of the woodwork.

Personally I think you are nearly right. But your MS comment is probably round the wrong way

For what?

For not responding to the likes of you, for a start. Stevo...what have you got against your fellow fans exactly, does it give you a kick. The Farmer, was doing this forum a service, one, that a couple of weeks ago, you lapped up. That said, like a pack, you and a few others, have turned on him/MLT and TL........neither deserve it IMO. You may find humor in what you do now........but think on fella......it could be your turn one day.

Having said that LA Cringe - you do seem to treat the critical faculties of others with deep hostility and suspicion ...

I don't think the majority of us on here hold anything against "Farmer". No matter what anyone will say on here there will always be somebody ready to argue the toss.

I haven't used this site as much as a lot but always come here to find any snippets of information available. There are a few posters that I always look forward to seeing on here as they talk with an open and honest, sometimes forthright manner.

This site has a lot of wind-up merchants and some that are simply cantankerous. We have some clever, some well educated and some like me who like to think we know more than we do. In short we have quite a large variety of folk on here, and for that I think we should be pleased. Variety is the spice of life after all.

ART I am glad you wrote that as a lot on here will mirror your feelings. Farmer you did your best to tell us what you gleaned but you were like us simply being fed what we wanted to hear.

Atleast any takeover doesn't quite look dead in the water just yet...

But I was thinking, I realise the club can't sell season tickets yet, but surely they can put tickets for the Ajax game on sale. It may not be a huge amount of money but surely at this crucial time every little helps?
