Why are people paranoid that we have sold one of our 'better' players when we are in league 1 with -10 to start off with and who it is coming knowledge wanted to go back to Nottingham?

It is quite clear cut as far as I'm concerned.

I would not be suprised if Drew, Lallana and maybe some others leave in the next few days.

TBF none of the names you mention covered themselves in glory last season (McG aside, and we already knew he wanted to go back to Notts) so I'm not bothered.

If Surman, Lallana, Schneiderlin didn't have the bottle to compete in the CCC, they're hardly going to do any better in League One are they?

TBH if Wolves want Surman, let him go - yes we'll probably regret it when he joins Aston Villa in a year or two, but needs must.

I would be shocked if they stayed.

Could the timing of the sale have had anything to do with meeting the Swiss? It was Fry's prerogative and decision to sell DMG, though still wanted to make sure this would not affect any possible takeover by the Swiss as leading party? Clutching somewhat....

Where in it does he say that everyone has been paid? Unless you've found a new video that i haven't seen, he doesn't once say that anybody has been paid in the video from last week.

sorry, i think that i misheard the question being asked by the interviewer at one stage of the interview.

Probably more likely a way of making sure that the staff is getting paid and that there is some money in the pot towards liquidating the company if necessary come Friday. At the moment no money is coming into the football club, which is still running up expenses. Nothing shady or peculiar in all this, but I hope that the buyers didn't bank on the players now being sold.

Solent are not covering this that much to be honest.

Fair enough, not a lot is happening, but I was listening to the daft old bint on Solent until 3.30 - hoping that they would at least update....with Solent being 'first for sport in the South' and all that...

Even their Sports updates at 20 past the hour from 4pm have disappeared in favour of talking about home remedies for sunburn...not happy Solent...sort it out....!

SSN - Le tisser expects to be chairman within hours.

Le tiss on the golf course (!) says that they are to accept the 10 points and hopes to get it done "very quickly". Talking about the next couple of seasons and getting a stable squad, would be dissapointed if we weren't back in the championship within 2/3 years.

4. 30pm Radio Solent - "Tony Lynam talking to FL over the identities of the people behind the bid".

WHAT?!

Surely they passed the fit and proper person stuff weeks ago?

This is very worrying ...not another new money man?

K.

Wtf!?!? This had been done weeks ago no?

It depends if the money was in an offshore nominee account shall we say Cayman Island trust or something, perhaps that is why it is only now that they need more claricfication.

Im wondering if the Swiss were rally there and not another of Frys 'push the deal along'

I would expect him to be getting worried. It will not do his career any good being the administrator who sees a large football club going out of business. I noticed on his interview how he was making excuses the other day on Sky?

Yeah weird -it's not like I've cut it out of a longer statement either - that was it, a short and sweet one liner for a short news bulletin. I would think there's more to that statement than they read out, maybe more at 5pm?

You dont seem to rate Mr Fry very much do you .

Lots of companies Woolworths and LV Van company have gone bust after calling in the administrators so it is probably a common occurrence.

With the lack of bids with serious money I dont think Fry could have done anything more than he has done so far.

I dont think he should have sold off the assetts piece meal or sold the club to Jackson do you.

At the moment the club could still be saved

With the bids that I understand to have been made

Nothing else except to repeat the Fry statement of no new movement since Friday

As far as I'm concerned the final nail in the Pinnacle bids coffin.

MLT and the most of the rest of us have obviously been taken in by a couple of delusional individuals.

Jackson or bust????????

17.00 Radio Solent:

Absofeckinglutely nothing!

Previously, Ian Murray (Echo) stated that Swiss are coming up fast on the inside rail, mentioned Pinnacle getting 'prissy' with the echo about some of their revelations late last week.

Can't see how Pinnacle can get 'prissy' about the info really - it was all available in the public domain wasn't it??

That said....shame they didn't do the same digging as GM on Wilde or Lowe eh?

Tell me about it. I've just spent 30 minutes listening to their cheesy songs and pointless drivel.

I've had it on all day, found myself tapping a foot earlier - gave myself a good slap and played a Siouxsie album as penance - better now
