EastleighSoulBoy Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 gone past that, i fear we are now in hexadecimals ff? @ffff ffs!
Evo Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 I missed the interview Is it Michael Fialka of Kitestone and NW8 ? To be honest, I don't mind who it is though, just so long as it's someone...
Saint 76er Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Yes and No... Michael Fialka is the main backer but, interestingly, he is of Jewish background and has a very extensive, and wealthy, network of associates. Hence why the word 'Consortium' is used with regards his bid with Pinnacle. Sounds like he might be a front man for some sort of ensemble of his family and/or friends... Not related to Gaydemak by any chance?
doggface Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Interesting, never heard of him & I confess this is not who I thought it was. As far as I am aware he was not one of the original 4, so I can only speculate that all the others walked & that TL pulled another millionaire out of a hat. Bizzare.

Not the name I was told was 100% the man only 48 hours ago. What went wrong within the last 48 hours ?
JustMike Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 welcome Michael. Please hurry up and get this all sorted. Thanks
cleaver Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 So if this is not the chap that all the ITKs were told, can they now spill the beans and tell us who they were told it was ? That is all.
S-Clarke Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 I think time has now run out for Pinnacle, this whole episode is turning into a never ending story. I’m usually one of the more open minded posters on here, willing to give anyone/anything a chance...but this is unfortunately turning into a sham – it promised so much more. These forum posts from Lynam, although posted in good heart, have a horrible resemblance to past takeover debacles – a case of the poster talking a good deal, but never actually getting round to completing the damn thing. The latest stunt to throw the ‘money man’ into the lime light stinks of panic stations because they know they’re losing the fans...and who can blame us? I can see their stance with the league, I believe it’s a valid one – but the league will not stand down on this and no matter how many times they go back and forth between the boardrooms the situation will not change. Whilst they are dragging this out, spare a thought for the members of staff who are tonight worried out of their skin – how can they complete their monthly payments? How can they repay their mortgages? This is turning into more than just watching football on a Saturday afternoon. If they turn around tomorrow and say the deal is done then I will congratulate them and welcome them aboard...but there is a nagging doubt in the back of my mind that’s telling me that this will never happen...

Agree with you. I thought the guy came across well, but couldn't help but think - why now? One chance to get some publicity before the deal falls over because the FL will not agree to Pinnacle terms.

Saint Since '51 Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Dear all Sorry if this is short and to the point. I have made our position very clear in interviews with Sky this afternoon which I assume many may know about. Discussions with the League are on-going and will be resolved. Our commitment and determination is at its highest point now, we know what is at stake. People will speculate as to what is in the draft agreement. The contents are really not relevant - what is relevant, it is unacceptable in its current form, and we're working hard at resolving that, with only one thing in mind, the Clubs best interests at heart. I know that as this has become very public over the last few days, that may appear like some sort of conflict with ourselves and the League. That is not the case, we need to remain composed, focused, and get on with the job. That means putting your head on the block and coming out of comfort zones sometimes, but that's the nature of business. Some will criticise not being fully informed, some will criticise the depth that they have been told of. Sometime in life you have a catch 22 scenario. But I'll take any such criticism on the chin, I won't take being forced to do something which I believe is fundamentally wrong, nor serving the best interests of this Club. And I would like to hope that you all want whats in the best interests of the Club - its a must. I believe in being upfront and open, and this is why I have made it my business to keep everyone from all walks up to date, and I will continue to do so until we close the deal, and beyond. With this in mind, I have asked one of the gentlemen who is putting their hand in their pocket to put his name out in public, and I expect this will happen shortly. Apologies to those who have sent questions to us today, they will be answered in due course, but now is not the time. Best wishes to you all and once again, thank you for your continued support. Tony If we got a point for every cliche in this message, we'd dead certs (there's another one for good measure - oops, and another) for promotion already!!!
landford.saint Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Well I for one are totally underwhelmed. The question I ask myself is ..'Why now?' 1. He could be genuine and went on SSN to settle are nerves and will buy club. 2. He knows the deal is dead and is laying the ground for reasons to let us down. 3. He knows the deal is dead and is trying to take the flack off TL. 4. He knows that we have major trouble with league and is trying to buy some time. If the worst happens I feel sorry for MLT who will get some undeserved flack from some on here, and some journalists. It is not his fault ... lets all give him our continued support rergardless.
S-Clarke Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 people on hear bang on about him revealing himself,he does that and you lot still bloody moan I wasn't bothered about him not revealing himself. Leave that until the deal is done and dusted (As even stated by Lynam himself) The timing of it is what's bothering me...

Or 5. He wants to take the issues with the league more public in the hope that stoking up some media interest will put pressure on Lord Hawhaw. Fat chance that 5. will work but Pinnacle seem rather obsessed with the ten points issue.

He knows the deal is almost dead and wanted a bit of publicity before it dies. No good saying to people in 6 months time "I was the guy behind the bid for the Saints that the FL killed". Response would be "oh yeah right" if he didn't show himself.

If we accept the -10 points, the league then say we need a CVA to to come out of it, then dock us another 15 points for not completing this CVA thing... The fight isn't over 10 points its over 25 points....

landford.saint Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 I have found a link between NW8 (MiFi) and property developers Oakmayne Properties which claim to have over £830 million Of developments across London. Looking deeper.
