they are queing up to get the praise. The person who did give the info has not tried to get the credit as being respected, but to be fair i doubt he'd want that from me, but a bit of stick

Sounds like a Max Moseley sort..Is he the money man.:D

Dear all

Sorry if this is short and to the point. I have made our position very clear in interviews with Sky this afternoon which I assume many may know about. Discussions with the League are on-going and will be resolved. Our commitment and determination is at its highest point now, we know what is at stake.

People will speculate as to what is in the draft agreement. The contents are really not relevant - what is relevant, it is unacceptable in its current form, and we're working hard at resolving that, with only one thing in mind, the Clubs best interests at heart.

Best wishes to you all and once again, thank you for your continued support.

Tony

I appreciate all you are doing Tony but if the contents of the draft agreement are irrelevant then why the delay in signing??

:(

And just when we thought things couldn't get any worse ...

behold, they did.

half time entertainment could be fun though, more hookers than at a rugby convention

Will someone from Pinnacle or the FL please show us what SFC are being asked to commit to. The mechanics and/or principle behind what the club are being asked to comply with can't be confidential, surely?

This would be a great topic to take on as a uni project. I think the way this is being conducted very interesting, its like playing a game of ballance board but with a business ethos as the ball.

Sorry, me being a bit lateral - it's just a hex number with 'F's in it....which, in my smutty world could be an abbreviation for a rude word. Almost amusing

There's more than one? Sh*t, when did that happen? *

I keep reading daft agreement instead of draft agreement. Is it just me ? Is it freudian? :-k

* This is sarcastic

Presumably Mr Lynam wouldn't be posting on here now if the deal was about to be signed today or indeed first thing tomorrow?

Presumably therefore nothing has changed and we are still in the same impasse as we've been since wednesday/friday of last week, with him saying black and the FL saying white.

Depressing.... even more so for the club employees. Who was it said Lynam had promised to pay this month's wages anyway?

Out of interest does any forum members still bank with Barclays?

I still have an account but I don't use it myself. I had a dispute with them over 20 years ago about the time it took to clear payments from the NatWest and they were inflexible so I opened an account with another bank. All my business dealing now go through this new account.

I think the problem is if we sign to say SFC is in admin then we get hit with another -15 thus starting the league with -25 points.

People keep saying this but why would we get another 15 off? If our creditors are happy why the further deduction?

I believe in being upfront and open, and this is why I have made it my business to keep everyone from all walks up to date, and I will continue to do so until we close the deal, and beyond. With this in mind, I have asked one of the gentlemen who is putting their hand in their pocket to put his name out in public, and I expect this will happen shortly.

how many gentlemen is this one gentleman one of ?

Because we wont have/cant agree a CVA as SLH with its debts is to be liquidated whilst the actively trading subsidiaries are acquired by the Pinnacle Consortium?

If the above is correct then the FL will rule that the football club will have to take a further points penalty for failing to agree a CVA.

Its a bit Irish but thats because officially the football club is not in administration although the FL don't of course accept this - it sees the club and SLH as symbiotic entities.

Crouch, gotta be. Wow, were all going to be over the moon at that one. I'd like to add that I like Crouch, and fair play if he is handing out his money to save the club, thanks.

It's not going to appease alot of people on here though!

Something telling in Kialka's answer to the question 'who gets the final say on the manager?'.....'That's something I'm not at liberty to say' he replied.

Something's telling me he's not the real money man....

Yes and No... Michael Fialka is the main backer but, interestingly, he is of Jewish background and has a very extensive, and wealthy, network of associates. Hence why the word 'Consortium' is used with regards his bid with Pinnacle.
