Turns out we may not have a football club to support after tomorrow. Been pretty quiet apart from that.

Oh wonderful, wish i'd had stayed down allbrook hill all day now.

Why is that ?? Why can't TL just get the job done now and take the bloody -10 ??

Don't get me wrong i'd rather we didn't but we are not going to win this are we ??

:(

Cheers trousers BTW

Thats it then..... we've formed the waggons into a circle, and the Injuns are attacking us from all sides.....as each hour passes our ammo is running out.....will it be the expected massacre or will the cavalry ride in at the last minute to save us ?

Sorry to be so melodramatic,I think this is about where we are at ?

The Swiss group have offered £400,000 for wages and admin fees to be paid within 7 days.

Know wonder they got invited around the table today..

I'm not sure that "within 7 days" cuts the mustard because I think all the players would have become free agents by then, and the decent ones would have exercised their right to walk away to other clubs.

It seems like TL is fighting a battle he won't win, even though the points he argues are perfectly valid because the FL seems to be under the impression, and rightly so, that Pinnacle are running out of time.

Eventually, they know Pinnacle will either back down and take their lumps, or Fry will sell to someone who is willing to live with their ridiculous rules.

Just £400,000? Who will cover the other immediate costs?

p.s. source?

cheers

Must have 5 members on their board then...

On another front, Solent just said that staff at StMarys are currently in a meeting regarding the wages....

No more news as yet...

I have had a message from a respected poster on here who has been told that no wages today and there will be another meeting tomorrow morning.I have not contacted any body I know to check but i would not doubt the credibility of the person who past the info on.

Dear all

Sorry if this is short and to the point. I have made our position very clear in interviews with Sky this afternoon which I assume many may know about. Discussions with the League are on-going and will be resolved. Our commitment and determination is at its highest point now, we know what is at stake.

People will speculate as to what is in the draft agreement. The contents are really not relevant - what is relevant, it is unacceptable in its current form, and we're working hard at resolving that, with only one thing in mind, the Clubs best interests at heart.

I know that as this has become very public over the last few days, that may appear like some sort of conflict with ourselves and the League. That is not the case, we need to remain composed, focused, and get on with the job. That means putting your head on the block and coming out of comfort zones sometimes, but that's the nature of business.

Some will criticise not being fully informed, some will criticise the depth that they have been told of. Sometime in life you have a catch 22 scenario. But I'll take any such criticism on the chin, I won't take being forced to do something which I believe is fundamentally wrong, nor serving the best interests of this Club. And I would like to hope that you all want whats in the best interests of the Club - its a must.

I believe in being upfront and open, and this is why I have made it my business to keep everyone from all walks up to date, and I will continue to do so until we close the deal, and beyond. With this in mind, I have asked one of the gentlemen who is putting their hand in their pocket to put his name out in public, and I expect this will happen shortly.

Apologies to those who have sent questions to us today, they will be answered in due course, but now is not the time.

Best wishes to you all and once again, thank you for your continued support.

Tony

Is it today or tomorrow?

If the league will not change its position and therefore you will not sign, then the club will cease to be - is that really in the best interests of the club? To be honest it doesn't matter if the money man is the Sultan of Brunei - if the deal is not signed there will be no club

am I completely wrong?

So there is more than one money man now?

When did that happen?

Is it Leon??? We already knew he was putting money up and the bbc had called it Crouch's Pinnacle group recently. To be fair if he coughs up he is a top man.

they are queing up to get the praise. The person who did give the info has not tried to get the credit as being respected, but to be fair i doubt he'd want that from me, but a bit of stick
