No idea why, just got told it had been delayed and something will happen at 14:30

 

Maybe Burley broke in and got drunk and they need extra time to clean up?

Is it true they asked for an extension til Tuesday but Fry said no?

No idea All Ive got is that update above from my mate at the Evening Standard.. his mates (yeah yeah I know) in the Sports bit said they are not expecting a press conf today but have been told a press statement will come out at 2.30.

ffs i left for work about an hour later than i should have been there and everything was building up. im in work now and jump on when the vets are out and we have hit a wall and can expect nothing more than a statement?

It's not a surprise. Stock market rules would state that, since SLH is still a listed PLC (albeit in administration), any news regarding it's trading status would have to be announced to the Stock Exchange before any other news source.

Why do people want a press conference? I'll be happy with anything official, if that's a statement saying 'job done' then great. The rumour for a couple of days has been a statement today and a press conference on Monday.

work in a zoo and sortin the vetcentre out. they all gone out to play with animals and im on saints web while they gone ;)

 

When I left for work this morning all was going well and now we not even got a press conference to look forward too!

How long is it before we have to start on -25 points? Surely that time would be coming up soon? We need to get this sorted, not pussying around with silly extensions. There is also the matter of securing a new manager (bet that goes on for weeks), and after that - will we have time left to bring in some players who will be able to gel in time for the new season???

 

On the other hand, the statement could be to say we are done - but lets face it, this isn't a normal football club. We do things the hard way. And then when we arrive at the junction on the hard way, we take the turn down the even harder way.

The statement i expect to be that the administrator after prolonged talks bla bla bla that Pinnacle have asked for the weekend to tie things up.

I don't think Fry has that long to risk if Pinnacle fail at the last hurdle. I doubt he can give them until Tuesday as if the wages are not paid we are liquidated and so time is of the essence for anyother interest to get into place. It is deja vu 3 weeks ago.

isnt part of the takeover delisting saints? not sure if LSE would get the announcement that saints are no longer part of the LSE or if they would just drop us?

Damn all this waiting...Was hoping for some positive news today(finally) but should have known that nothing ever goes smoothly with Saints..Players are already back in training and the club is still in complete chaos..Does not bode well for next season at this rate.

There was NEVER a press conference planned for 12.30pm. I honestly have no idea where people like you get this nonsense from.

 

It's hardly a nudge, nudge, wink, wink about a highly secret matter. Your source, if he exists, is so unreliable he even gets these sort of straight forward organisational matters wrong. It's as fantastical as him having an alternative view of the fixture list.

 

I really wish people wouldn't post such total garbage. Or would at least have the courtesy to explain how their "information" turned out to be so completely 100% wrong afterwards.

he said 2.30 but there are loads of rumours floating about.Even people who have friends at the club get some things wrong aka when I posted that something was imminent a few weeks back.That was the rumour flashing around the stadium at that time, unless the people are in the room and see things signed we rely in the main on people close but not the main players.
