I'm not interested in the blame game but we have suffered multiple whammies:-

1. relegation from the prem

2. relegation from the CCC

3. messy administration

4. 10 points deduction

5. possible further relegation or minus 15 more points

even the most optimistic skate couldn't have made this up ...

Most of them aren't capable of 1 thought at a time, let alone 5. :smt115

i was thinking last night, since we scorned GH we certainly have suffered.Perhaps some of his praying has worked afterall. add to your list beaten in the play-ofs cruelly and perhaps liquidation. A Pompey fan has definately let a genie out of a bottle

Yes, that referee for the home leg against Derby basically allowed them to kick us off the pitch. ***t.

Yeah GH and the curse of the dead Saxons too maybe ...?

It time that Pinnacle outed the reason that they can't agree with the FL.

What are the FL going to do not issue us with a licence, give us a points penalty?

Time to clear the air or i can see a freedom of information request being lodged.

Oh well, I was waiting for takeover day to hit my 1000 posts but I can't wait any longer.

Block 5, you don't have to eat your scarf!

The wait is all getting a bit bum jangly now and the silence is deafening. I still hold out some hope but it is diminishing by the hour.

I still find it hard to believe that Pinnacles backers would be prepared to invest a large wad and then not complete the deal, that is my only hope of it still going through.

Yes, I was all for Administration .......... but even I did not think that Barclays?Lowe would be STUPID enough to wait until ONE week after the Leagues cut off date before doing so .... that in itself STINKS, it guarenteed -10

Pinnacle ??? ..... IMHO, have never really come across as being 100% sincere. We knew and they knew of the 10 point penalty, and not many pundits thought that we could get out of it ............ yet Pinnacle have been making great play re this .... WHY ??? ........The Mystery Man is just that, a complete MYSTERY ..... a Load of Irish Blarney

Everybody knows who I think will end up back in control ..... I have always thought this, as I think that he started the whole ball rolling.

It won't be long before we are put in the real picture

If that was the case then I think that in all probability I would not be able to continue with the agony.

I'm just beginning to lose fiath in Pinnacle. Given a straight chocie between Pinnacle and the (unknown) Swiss, I might now prefer to take a punt on the latter.

It is pretty certain that WHOEVER Buys us will HAVE to accept :-

The FL's -10, plus -15 ... plus anything else the FL chuck at us

Jackson WILL accept such constraints .... but I cannot see anyone else accepting them

In effect, we would already be in Div 2

We are to be Pinnacled for sure.....They will do it today...Sort it out TL and team..

The wages must be paid later today...no doubt Leon Crouch to the rescue again...

We are almost there...COYRs.

I have no clue but have faith in this crowd....Bill Gates...Pinnacle..TL, MLT, LC,MC, AS,

GD,LM and OSM. Plus any old favourites I have forgotten.

What are you basing this on OSM, knowledge or blind faith?

Is Fry gives the Swiss a period of exclusivity - then Pinnacle don't need to walk..they are out. A massive call for Fry.

That is presuming that they (the Swiss) can complete within 21 days. TBH I think they will come up against the same obstacles with the FL license.

Just because Pinnacle would not accept the FL constraints does not mean "others" will not

It would however be a Very Poor deal for SFC

We'd be in existance, but what a cost

Oh my god! This a real ?Thought it was a horrendous nightmare!

Can you imagine actually waking up and finding Saints still in the Premiership?

No, you're probably right, no one could sleep through two relegations. I'd have woken up screaming when Strachan left...

What time does The Farmer usually post his reassuring daily message? :(

Really not interested if TL posts his usual message between 4 - 4.30pm, as every day goes by, the harder we are going to find playing this season in the old 3rd Division and getting out of it, thats assuming that we will be in it, what a sad state of affairs.

Feel like crying.... and im a big fella.. this is what it coming too

Not sure if anyone has seen this yet. MLT has been quoted in the times

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/article6572162.ece

Just seems like a rehash of what he said the other day on Sky - nothing new at all.

And this is what worries me....they still seem to be in exactly the same position they were in a few days ago.

IMO if they've not announced this by the end of the day, then it's dead as far as I’m concerned. Fry should do the decent thing and give the Swiss exclusivity and get the wages paid. – and it doesn’t ‘’NEED’’ to take another 21 days either....

If they did, then there is no way (if they are serious businessmen) pay anything like the amount Fry had agreed with the Pinnacle and Greene/Jackson groups and therefore, probably unacceptable to the creditors.

SO, as a businessman, Fry must know that ............. so why is he actively talking to people who will NOT pay anything like what Pinnacle would ????

Rather than Mr Fry's approach of let's challenge the FL auditor and the rules which will have the predictable outcome of FL wins, they always do; it may have been a wiser course to accept the rules and work towards gaining a CVA. The one advantage Southampton had over other teams in similar straits was that little was owed to HMRC who have been the main stumbling block to gaining a CVA. Some creditors are presumably saints fans and might well have voted for the CVA. Of course if you run up a legal bill for the administrators and put bidders in a similar position, there will be less money for creditors and less liklihood of gaining a CVA. Fighting talk from Mr Fry is all very well and gains applause but where does it leave you at the end of the day. A more pragmatic approach may have led you to completion by now.
