SO16_Saint Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 SSN Lastest Saints new's after break! It'll just be the movement of the Southend match....
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 Start a thread in General Chat about it if you want a discussion. We've been there, seen it, done it. We know you're a racist. What's to discuss?
dannysfc Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 Le Tiss on SSN after the break. Aint Got SSN At Home But Have Somewhere Else So Can Someone Let Me/Us Know What He Says As I'm Quite Interested To Know Please ?! Thanks! COYR!!
Clifford Nelson Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 On historical evidence, I think, FL never, ever change their mind, so I think Pinnacle is at the end of the road: Either accept or reject! If they accept that further negotiation is not going to get where they, and we, would like to go, then the decision is easier. It couldn't possibly take that long to ponder, could it? Good news is that since they still seem to believe that there is mileage in negotiating, they couldn't have been in the game before! As someone who has been in negotiations before, the writing is on the wall. Nothing is now going to change. There is no point in believing in that, so to wait and wait again is just losing time. If I'm wrong there are plenty of old hats to eat.
Junction 9 Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 After 6pm on SSN probably means about ten to eight.

O_RLY Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 How could MLT say those things? Blatent disrespect to the club who loved him so much for so long...

OldNick Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 How could MLT say those things? Blatent disrespect to the club who loved him so much for so long...more importantly Georgie Thompson is looking a bitr rough tonight
70's Mike Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 More worried about Stelling and Kamara's horse which was running today

OldNick Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 Just said he is going to be on as soon as he can get a good phone signal for his mobile, apparently his phone signal is poor at the McDonalds drive thru.
jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 at least its Hampshire lol - still cricket tho
shurlock Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 Still talk from MLT about the 'right that is due to us' and having 'a level playing field'. Suggests ongoing obstacles.
jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 this is so stressful. cant bear another 48 hours i dont think. i just hope my IT dept dont trace my internet activity whilst i am suposedly working lol
Paul Chuckle Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 Another 48 hours have dinner with Jeff Stelling tonight :-/
NickG Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 still sounded confident. refused to rule out KK as manager hopefully within 48 hours but you never know with lawyers the fl have sent us the new contract they wish us to sign and its with lawyers
OldNick Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 words from the great man. very diplomatic and said that will be another 48hours ..or so. This is the best bid and wants level playing field.Sidestepped the wages being paid, saying the players very understanding but expected them to be sorted.
saintjay77 Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 So nothing new from what we have heard today then? I guess we will find out tomorrow sometime if the FL have dropped the right to appeal BS or not. But it also sounds like that is the only sticking point which must be a bonus?
Clifford Nelson Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 According to South Today Pinnacle have sent another letter to FL suggesting a different agreement. As I forecasted previously that will be countered sometimes tomorrow with a polite and diplomatic "Get stuffed!" Their mind is made up: With several other bidders seeming interested in Saints give me just one single reason for why they should risk upsetting all the other clubs in League One. This is never, never, never going to happen. Please, note FL's track record! The risk of me eating an old hat has already receded from when I poste last about an hour ago. COYR and all that jazz, I want to start dreaming about the team and next season. Just imagine having an argument about a lousy left back for example. Seems like heaven!
isplumm Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 Hi... South Today have just mentioned that Pinnacle have sent a proposal back to the FL - with some form of compromise in it ... they didn't say much more !! Mark

Saint Charlie Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 Hi... South Today have just mentioned that Pinnacle have sent a proposal back to the FL - with some form of compromise in it ... they didn't say much more !! Mark Thats how it will be sorted, its just bartering of a kind, each side wanting the best deal. If Pinnacle rushed in and signed things people would blame them for being too hasty. I have every confidence they will seal it once they are happier with the terms, which may be very soon...
hypochondriac Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 I'm bored now. They really should just accept the ten points and be done with it.
itchen Posted 23 June, 2009 Posted 23 June, 2009 Was there somebody else named on South Today? I only caught the end of the item but they showed a diagram which I think had MLT, Tony Lynam and some other bloke whose name I've forgotten. Anybody else see it?
