If it is The Irish Racing fraternity....I do hope they don't think The Saints team is like a young stallion/Gelding ready to train up for Cheltenham etc......Last time out didn't we run like a Donkey on Blackpool sands.

 

Would explain the pre season game at Cheltenham on 14th July :D

I only have the older iphone but sadly enough it is propped up under the monitor on the desk for when I have to momentarily flick away to do some 'work'

 

Won't it be nice when the only stickies on this board are to do with fixtures or prediction leagues.

 

If a sale is imminent tomorrow will their be any sort of statement tonight?

If the other piece of info is correct and we will be bought tomorrow then presumably new bank accounts etc will need to be set up in order for the wages to be paid from them ? or am I way off track

the money etc is all in place, new bank accounts etc all done last week i believe

Speaking of clowns, perhaps we should start a "We love the Football League, they are great!" email campaign?

 

Perhaps if we bombard them with emails about just how really really great they are and how much we respect their adherance to the spirit of the law, they might go "awww, shucks you big lugs, here have your 10 points all is forgiven"...

This needs to happen in the next few days. I'm beginning to doubt Pinnacle and surely if another consortium wants to buy it then they have to go into a period of exclusivity for another 3 weeks? With players back for pre-season trainining and a number out of contract next week, surely they could just leave if there is no done deal? Pre-season is in jeopardy....very worried

Perhaps....just perhaps....Pinnacle have come to an arrangement with the Football League whereby the FL agree to restrict the points penalty to -10 as long as SFC go through the CVA process. But, of course, to do that SFC itself would have to go into administration....and perhaps (that's a big "perhaps")....'engineering' a missed pay day will force SFC into a technical administration, so that they can bounce straight back out of it with the requisit CVA....and, hey presto, the FL are happy and SFC are (relatively) happy because we've avoided something worse than a -10 point penalty.

 

Could that be what it's all about? i.e. it's not just about the -10 points, it's about going through the due process to avoid further points penalties and/or demotions???????

 

No idea...I'm making this up as I go along (first time for everything....)

 

That's an ingenious plan and not that ludicrous. it ticks a lot of boxes:

 

Settles the agrument about admin cos SFC would have been in admin. No need to argue the toss over SLH any more (any why wnyway, it wouldn't wash) and we've done things the FL way (or the way they understand). No threat of any legal action.

 

Gives us a way of getting CVA which was tricky if SFC hadn't ben in admin. Likely FL would have docked us another 3 million poimts because we've annoyed them.

 

Although SFC would be going into admin, presumably everything could be put in place for them to come straight out with CVA. FL heave a sigh of relief, legitimately take off 10 points but no more and get us out of their hair.

 

Pure genius.
