OK, enough of this rubbish from Fry.

There are now FAR more critical things at stake.

This is Saints

This IS a rumoured takeover

Page 150 is rushing ever nearer.

Perhaps we will finally reach the big milestone on a Friday

meanwhile anyone notice if Thorpie's status is now officially changed to

BANNED.

Must go, re-watching House from series one. Have 4.25 series to go to get back up to date again. Tough call which will be first - me catching up or the takeover.

May I be the first to formally state that I am really not looking forward to the "we have the paperwork from the FL but it has a few points for our lawyers to address" type comments, hence the departure to House.

Txt me if anything happens

I got an extension unless you banned me from an extension!!!!!! :smt075

No, much easier to just click the refresh button in the browser though that does wear out the poor mouse instead !

Or use a firefox plug in that has auto refresh so you can save yourself an RSI injury.

I predict that unless the Swiss complete tomorrow they will be out of it and the international finacial group from Monocco will win the prize.

And if *they* don't complete by Thursday, they'll pull out leaving room for the Pinnacle/Jackson/Lowe consortium. Oh...

Unless our potential buyers and investors have tied everything up today, the FULL MOON, and get everything signed by tomorrow morning, I dare say that we'll be keep waiting a whole long while yet again. As the Moon wains then the chances of success will be reduced and have less chance of success. Why the hell can't we be like any normal takeover and be able to look forward to a bright future. I feel as frustrated now as I did in the late 50's when we never seemed to be able to get out of the old 3rd Division. It came eventually but look where the circle ended up 50 years later.:(

Art, I think you forget that Mars is in Taurus, now some 5 degrees behind Venus. Venus however is pulling away from him (Source: http://www.thedaze.com). Mars is the bringer of war, significant in that there is more than one bidder. Taurus is the bull - quite why Mars is in the bull remains a mystery, but Venus is not too happy about it.

I cant see it posted anywhere but Andrew Pate Meridiskate said he had spoken with the Administrator and said the Swiss deal was very very close, awaiting clearance from the FA proper persons check - well as no-one has ever failed that think we can assume they will pass.

I dont think the Swiss will fail they are sorting things out with the FL at the moment so we are told

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/8136389.stm

But according to that report :

'A member of the family behind the Swiss-based Liebherr Holdings group is closing in on a purchase at St Mary's.

The bid has not come, as reported, from siblings Isolde and Willi Leibherr, or their Leibherr Group company'

In which case who is it ? 'Mad Uncle Heinrich' ? Will someone please produce the Leibherr family tree and let the guessing commence?

Hans Liebherr had five children, two of whom - Willi and Isolde now run Liebherr. I guess its either one of Willi or Isolde's children or one of the other siblings. They're German by the way, not Swiss.

And tomorrow there'll be a solar storm and none of this would have mattered.

What a great evening.

Now up to series one eposide eleven of House, and ASTONISHINGLY I have news...

I've found out what's been wrong with the club these past years.

It's Lupus

No honestly

Really

Not just because it's my favourite buzz word from House but also because the symptoms fit

From House S1 Episode 10 - Cameron to Chase - Lupus is when the body starts to attack itself....

From Wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lupus_erythematosus

Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs when the body's immune system attacks its own tissues and organs.

See that is SO much more believable than Art's too many Bulls in Uran*s or Venus or whatever it was.

The really GOOD news is that (from Wiki)

With treatment, most people with lupus can lead active lives.

and from http://arthritis-symptom.com/lupus/lupus-cure.htm

At present, there is no cure for lupus.

However, lupus can be effectively treated with drugs, and most people with the disease can lead active, healthy lives. Lupus is characterized by periods of illness, called flares, and periods of wellness, or remission. Understanding how to prevent flares and how to treat them when they do occur helps people with lupus maintain better health. Intense research is underway, and scientists funded by the NIH are continuing to make great strides in understanding the disease, which may ultimately lead to a cure.

And of course we all know that there are some very big Swiss Pharmaceutical companies out there - that's it - case solved, back to the Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon

I'm hoping someone allegedly planning to buy a club down the road becomes the first!!

Is the FL "fit & proper persons" test, managed by a shared resources (with the FA), or a separate test?
