South Korea and Japan have both qualified & both hold quite deep grudges with NK, and don't forget in 1966 they beat Italy 1-0, so presumably the Azzurri would be looking for revenge .

No. The two third placed teams (Saudi Arabia and Bahrain) are the only teams left from Asia that can still qualify. They will have a play off to determine who plays New Zealand for a right to a place in the World Cup. Iran came 4th in their group.
