I think they have room for a few more. As a reference for you, the UK has a population density exactly 100 times higher than that, at 640 people per square mile. Ponty Posted 17 June, 2009 Share Posted 17 June, 2009 That was a fair point actually TDD, but sometimes it's necessary to address the ignorant first.
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 17 June, 2009 Share Posted 17 June, 2009 I expect many feel that way about him and the rest of his party, however, they are where they are and the country as whole are better for it, hypocritical ? of course, what isn't in politics ? miserableoldgit Posted 17 June, 2009 Share Posted 17 June, 2009 I can`t remember the exact words that he used today, but it was something along the lines of "It`s disgraceful that innocent peoples (or childrens) lives should be put at risk because of racial hatred". Ranks pretty high on both the "Hypocracy" and "Irony" scales I think.

jeff leopard Posted 17 June, 2009 Share Posted 17 June, 2009 for all the faults and frailties and perceived hypocrisy of the power sharing agreement, its an all too rare example of a long dispute ending 'peacefully'. a beacon of hope, no less, that resolutions can be found in the darkest situations. the truth is obviously much more complicated, and the wheels can still come off without too much warning. i'd like to think that the comments made, which i've only read, were more a case of someone no longer entrenched in certain beliefs being able to see things from new perspectives. i am a idealistic commie-hugging eco-terrorist at heart though. but there's no denying that the shot of mcguniness and pasley, sitting side by side with huge sh1t-eating grins, was down right odd.
