After hearing it last night in the last hour I have had 4 texts and 2 phones calls saying the same thing? Keegan was at MLT's house yesterday in Ringwood for 2 hours discussing a contract? Would you be happy KK as I know I would

Nope I wouldn't be. I just don't think he has the tactital nous.

Also when the going gets tough he's off, which I wouldn't want.

did well with fulham when they were in L1, seems to have the nous for getting teams out of that league. Id be very happy with him

I'd be delighted.

Wont happen though.

And don't bang on about him being tactically short, who gives a flying ****, we are now in division 3, and have been **** for years now. How about having a bit of fun and trying to outscore other teams.

Fair one - but had a lot of money to do it with though. Don't think he'd have quite the same resources to do it again like that.

Notwithstanding whether he is or is not the right man for the job - I rather think there is more chance of Madonna giving Gordon Brown a blow job than him becoming our manager !

I care. As I'd rather just like to see Saints win games more than anything else!

for a start mlt lives hedge end way (but moving soon), not bournemouth or ringwood as mentioned on here.

Keegan I have only read on here, would be surprised - but I would not rule anything out as I know Pinnacle are ambitious. As I said yesterday Ince has been approached that is all I know, im sure they have approached others but who I am not sure who.

That's strange, I thought MLT lived at Avon Castle near Ringwood, he's often seen in Ringwood. When did he move?

Yes, I think he would do a good job for us - BUT after a couple of successful seasons i think hae would be off (back to Newcastle !!!)

I would be very happy with a couple of successful seasons!

Are we sure this relates to Kev being the new manager or could he just be the man with money? Nothing would surprise me present.

Last time I drove my brother to Matts house it was in Ringwood.

I'd love it if we got Keegan! :p Seriously though, I can't see it happening. Would be more than happy if true, but I won't be surprised if this turns out to be nothing more than speculation.

He spent a fortune at Fulham. When they knocked us out of both cup competitions, their squad cost more in transfer fees than ours. For instance, Chris Coleman cost over £2m and Paul Peschisolido cost over £1m. Even 12 years later, those kind of fees are unheard of in the 3rd tier. I just don't see any new owner wanting to commit that kind of money when we're starting with a 10 point handicap in a competitive league that also contains Leeds, Charlton and Norwich.

Sure he'd be off in a helicopter when things got too tough but in the mean time he'd bring a f**king truckload of belief back to the club at all levels, and given the way we've watched trace of belief bleed out of the club these last years, I'd say he'd be the ideal man to inspire an unlikely surge back to the Championship. He might not stay around much longer than that but who do you want? Jesus?

least we might have some attackive football
I would like to start a petition to have the word "attackive" added to the Exford Onglish Dictionary especially to describe KK's teams. Great word IMHO. :D

Never going to happen but would definitely add a certain feel good factor and if he diid have a couple of good years then jack it in so what, he will of done what we needed him too.

More likely to get Kevin the Gerbil but bring it on.

had a fair bit of cash but for me it was the type of player he went after that did the trick. He knows the league and more importantly, how to get out of it.

The quality of players he has at this very moment won't matter... neither will it matter if he has any money or not. The simple fact is people want to play for Kevin Keegan and because of that, he will attract the very best players available to us as a club, budget permitting.

This league does not require tactical nous, it requires grafters who are motivated by their manager. KK is a motivator and people will run through brick walls for him. He is the kind of person who can lead us right back up to the Premier League on a wave of optimism, and give this city and this club the buzz that has long since deserted it. He will unify everyone, even if there are doubters now.

No matter what people say about him, he is a good football manager and is honest enough to know his limitations.

He could turn this club around big style and if any of you think otherwise, well... :o

So you were truly shocked at the thought of Diego going down on Gordon, but were relieved when you found out that it was merely the everyday scenario of Madge giving him good reason for facial ticks by sucking in the trouser department!!??
