Barfy Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 I'm at work so: ping = 19ms down = 26.35Mb/s up = 20.78Mb/s My home speeds also vary quite a bit, between 6am & 7pm they roughly range from: ping = 40ms - 60ms down = 5.5Mb/s - 2.5Mb/s up = 0.4Mb/s - 0.3Mb/s I've put that down to moving from a 20:1 contention ratio (freedom2surf/tiscali/talktalk) to a standard 50:1 connection (Sky) though as previously download speeds were hitting 7Mb/s at off peak times with an average of around 4Mb/s
