Scudamore Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 Did you ever sample "Northampton's Best Kebab House" ? Pretty sure i did before going into a snooker club at three in the morning yes...i believe i was so drunk that i was barely able to play a shot...a habit i've thankfully managed to break with the onset of 24 hour licensing...a snooker hall is no place to be when absolutely battered... Shroppie Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 Some of the kebabs I've seen, I suspect I'm only alive because I didn't eat them!
chrisobee Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 Barnet v Watford is a nice local derby ! Apart from that and poor old Bournemouth having to go to Millwall it is very uninspiring though not surprising given only the "lesser" clubs play in the 1st round! trousers Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 Wotte's reaction... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1693499,00.html I hope he's not claiming his phone calls from Eygypt on expenses...
VectisSaint Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 Crowd might not be that low, as it could be first home game of season depending on what happens tomorrow! p.s. The North starts at Ringwood. Thought the north started in Cowes Roads
offix Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 As someone on here said: "uninspiring". But then again, so will be this season's fixture list.
gjphilsaint Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 I am gutted this is at SMS as living in Kettering an away draw was my dream fixture so early on. Ho hum
Evil Monkey Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 Might be a good idea to make CC games at SMS free to STH this season to boost the attendances. The club wouldnt loose out too much because we'll probably go out in the first round.
offix Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 A new record low at SMS me thinks. If we get more than £5k I'll be amazed. sell out! IF we get KK as manager
Bearsy Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 Good to get a derby match. Should be a cracking atmosphere.
Amesbury Saint Posted 16 June, 2009 Share Posted 16 June, 2009 Record low St Mary's attendance coming up. i don't think so. My guess the club will seek to get a good attendance with some very cheap ticket prices.

Ho hum Im a Bedford man so could have done with this one away too, but well happy with this draw. A few mates are Cobblers so should be some decent banta for me. !!! The9 Posted 17 June, 2009 Share Posted 17 June, 2009 Take 70 teams. Sift off the top 35 as "seeds" and try to split them in 17 "northern" and 18 "southern" teams. Now take the remaining 35 teams and try to split them in "northern" and "southern" also. Now shuffle a few from north to south to get the correct split. I am enjoying the anomaly of Gloucester City being in the British Gas Midland division and Redditch being in the Bristish Gas South and West Division FAR more than that. See also north Walian Colwyn Bay's nearest rivals (who are on the Wirral) being in a midlands league. Nice to see VTFC makes the list of grounds that properly count now too... along with AFC Totton at Step 4.
