Would have been good to keep imo and would have done well in League One if on reduced wages. Him leaving for nothing when he cost 750k seems a waste. Plenty of others here will disagree :D

 

Cost 750k as paid for by Coca Cola...

 

Really not that fussed to see him go...

Only 250k was the Coca-cola money we paid 500k

 

Still doesn't make it any less of a waste of cash if someone else paid for it as if he left us for a cash fee we would keep the cash.

BWP isn't technically brilliant, but you don't need to be in this league

 

We have nobody else who will bag over 20 goals in L1

McGoldrick if he stays will and only if he plays upfront for the whole season(which he didn't for large parts of last season i.e. behind Saga and Euell or wide on the right)

not a loss imo, we've got patterson and white alone who could fill the position.

 

if we play further up the field than we did last season we will easily have more than one player who will bag 20goals in L1.

history does not support that like " we will walk this division"

Having lived there for a number of years, Plymouth's nightlife will be an eye opener for Bradley to say the least :D

This can be happening because BWP has no contract at Saints after July the 1st, therefore can talk to who he wants and doesn't have to tell anyone to do with the new owners nor manager.

Also the bloke who claims his attitude stinks, you ever met him? Or are you just basing that on rumours, the fact that his game is not about chasing down everything, because you don't like him and because he's a bit hit and miss?

im not happy to see him go. We just dont have the cover anymore, were bleeding strikers. People who would rather have an unproven youth than dmg or bwp are retarded imo.

he certainly doesn't tuck enough of the 1 on 1's away and his shooting from outside of the box was woeful, appauling even, I don't recall him hitting the target last season for distance. The question I keep on asking thouhg is if we let all these `failed' players go will we actually replace them with anything better?

well he was terribly unlucky with a shot that crashed back off the crossbar at the Northam end.

Hope this is true, BWP is gash. People are saying there is no way on Earth we can afford Rasiak's wages, but getting rid of this waste of space would go 2/3 of the way there.

 

I don't think he would score more in L1 than he has in the CCC. Afterall, the offside rule still applies and on even crapper pitches he is more liable to falling over.

This is the bit that troubles me. Partly that under a different management team 'failed' players can suddenly find their touch and become improved players. Why can't there be more consistency at the club?

 

With regards to BWP, he's been at Saints for three years and worked under different regimes but still hasn't shown improvement from the first day he was here.

 

I remember when Soccer AM came down to Staplewood and shot the 'hit the crossbar' event. OK it was a fun event but you'd expect a competitive edge in the squad to at least do yourself justice. You could see before his turn from his reaction when interviewed he wasn't going to do well and sure enough he was one of the worst if not the worst in his attempt... his heart and mind just weren't in it.

League 1 was probably his level - but money and ego talk

 

he should have gone anyway - along with Dyer - after the night club incident - and then again after the late night fracas with fans

 

bring Vokes in on loan instead - a Saints fan - and give White and Paterson a go I say

 

and take the money for McGoldrick as well - to slow, too much ego, not a centre forward and not as good as Lallana in the hole
