Him leaving for nothing when he cost 750k seems a waste. Plenty of others here will disagree

Matthew Le God Posted 15 June, 2009 Author Posted 15 June, 2009 Cost 750k as paid for by Coca Cola... Really not that fussed to see him go... Only 250k was the Coca-cola money we paid 500k Still doesn't make it any less of a waste of cash if someone else paid for it as if he left us for a cash fee we would keep the cash.
Dicko Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 We need a goalscorer in this league BWP isn't technically brilliant, but you don't need to be in this league We have nobody else who will bag over 20 goals in L1
Matthew Le God Posted 15 June, 2009 Author Posted 15 June, 2009 We have nobody else who will bag over 20 goals in L1 McGoldrick if he stays will and only if he plays upfront for the whole season(which he didn't for large parts of last season i.e. behind Saga and Euell or wide on the right)
badgerx16 Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 Are there any nightclubs in Plymouth that might leave their cloakrooms unattended ?
ribbo Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 not a loss imo, we've got patterson and white alone who could fill the position. if we play further up the field than we did last season we will easily have more than one player who will bag 20goals in L1.
70's Mike Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 not a loss imo, we've got patterson and white alone who could fill the position. if we play further up the field than we did last season we will easily have more than one player who will bag 20goals in L1. sort of post that worries me because of use of words like not a loss if we play we will easily history does not support that like " we will walk this division"
Matthew Le God Posted 15 June, 2009 Author Posted 15 June, 2009 Are there any nightclubs in Plymouth that might leave their cloakrooms unattended ? Having lived there for a number of years, Plymouth's nightlife will be an eye opener for Bradley to say the least

How many goals did White score in L2 for Shrewsbury? I've seen nothing from Patterson to suggest he'll be a revelation next season
alpine_saint Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 How can this be happening if we dont know if the new owners and potential new manager rates him ? Its a bit previous...
Scudamore Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 The guy's attitude stinks...just about all that is wrong with modern footballers imo...
70's Mike Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 The guy's attitude stinks...just about all that is wrong with modern footballers imo... AGREED but as Alpine said who is making these decisions, surely Pinnacle must be consulted
Scudamore Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 AGREED but as Alpine said who is making these decisions' date=' surely Pinnacle must be consulted[/quote'] Jean-Marc Bosman?
Saint_clark Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 How can this be happening if we dont know if the new owners and potential new manager rates him ? Its a bit previous... We have no say in the matter. Never mind, let's just use any excuse to have a pop eh.
Hopkins Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 How can this be happening if we dont know if the new owners and potential new manager rates him ? Its a bit previous... This can be happening because BWP has no contract at Saints after July the 1st, therefore can talk to who he wants and doesn't have to tell anyone to do with the new owners nor manager. Are you dumb? Also the bloke who claims his attitude stinks, you ever met him? Or are you just basing that on rumours, the fact that his game is not about chasing down everything, because you don't like him and because he's a bit hit and miss?
Gingeletiss Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 Are there any nightclubs in Plymouth that might leave their cloakrooms unattended ? Beat me to the punch........both him and Dyer are lowlifes, and I for one, say good riddance.
DT Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 Continuing our 'get rid of crooks' policy. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I've never met Ronaldo...i still know his attitude stinks...

Hopkins Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 I've never met Ronaldo...i still know his attitude stinks... Ronaldo is in the public eye. There are many interviews/quotes from Ronaldo's mouth that suggest his attitude stinks. Show me one where BWP shows an attitude that stinks...

Chez Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 How many goals did White score in L2 for Shrewsbury? I've seen nothing from Patterson to suggest he'll be a revelation next season have you seen nothing of Patterson?
Saint_Jonny Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 im not happy to see him go. We just dont have the cover anymore, were bleeding strikers. People who would rather have an unproven youth than dmg or bwp are retarded imo.
beatlesaint Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 We need a goalscorer in this league BWP isn't technically brilliant, but you don't need to be in this league We have nobody else who will bag over 20 goals in L1 I have seen nothing in BWP to suggest he would bag 20 goals plus in League 1.
Foxstone Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 He has had plenty of opportunity to show us that he can "cut it" and has dismally failed IMO... No loss !
Chez Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 I have seen nothing in BWP to suggest he would bag 20 goals plus in League 1. he certainly doesn't tuck enough of the 1 on 1's away and his shooting from outside of the box was woeful, appauling even, I don't recall him hitting the target last season for distance. The question I keep on asking thouhg is if we let all these `failed' players go will we actually replace them with anything better?
whizz Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 Don't mind seeing him go, but hope to see some replacements coming in once the dust has settled with the (fingers crossed) takeover
dannysfc Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 Here's My Opinion: I Think He's Crap n That He Can't Hit A Barn Door Let Alone A Goal! Even I Think That McGoldrick Is Better Than Him Tbh! But It's Only My Opinion!
OldNick Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 he certainly doesn't tuck enough of the 1 on 1's away and his shooting from outside of the box was woeful, appauling even, I don't recall him hitting the target last season for distance. Matthew Le God Posted 15 June, 2009 Author Posted 15 June, 2009 Maybe its a case of let BWP's contract run out and keep Rasiak as he wants to remain on his wages as no-one else will match them.
the scud Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 Never could score one on one's during his time here best of luck to him tho and Plymouth are in for a real shocker tbh
Arizona Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 Hope this is true, BWP is gash. People are saying there is no way on Earth we can afford Rasiak's wages, but getting rid of this waste of space would go 2/3 of the way there. I don't think he would score more in L1 than he has in the CCC. Afterall, the offside rule still applies and on even crapper pitches he is more liable to falling over.

The question I keep on asking thouhg is if we let all these `failed' players go will we actually replace them with anything better? This is the bit that troubles me. Partly that under a different management team 'failed' players can suddenly find their touch and become improved players. Why can't there be more consistency at the club? With regards to BWP, he's been at Saints for three years and worked under different regimes but still hasn't shown improvement from the first day he was here. I remember when Soccer AM came down to Staplewood and shot the 'hit the crossbar' event. OK it was a fun event but you'd expect a competitive edge in the squad to at least do yourself justice. You could see before his turn from his reaction when interviewed he wasn't going to do well and sure enough he was one of the worst if not the worst in his attempt... his heart and mind just weren't in it.

Nutwood2 Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 Great news. Complete waste of space. No doubt Argyle will have the highest offside rate in the Championship next season!
Pancake Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 I don't think he would score more in L1 than he has in the CCC. Afterall, the offside rule still applies and on even crapper pictures he is more liable to falling over. Sketchy at best that one.
OldNick Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 A change of scenery may do him good.I myself think that he was earning too much when here and we cant afford him now in L1

Rebel Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 he shows flashes of ability - but lacks the desire and the application bit like Kenwyne Jones did! he's out of contract so we have no say in the matter anyway League 1 was probably his level - but money and ego talk he should have gone anyway - along with Dyer - after the night club incident - and then again after the late night fracas with fans bring Vokes in on loan instead - a Saints fan - and give White and Paterson a go I say and take the money for McGoldrick as well - to slow, too much ego, not a centre forward and not as good as Lallana in the hole
Scudamore Posted 15 June, 2009 Posted 15 June, 2009 and take the money for McGoldrick as well - to slow, too much ego, not a centre forward and not as good as Lallana in the hole Gotta disagree with this...but that's for another thread i'd say...
