  2. Anybody know of a decent pub for pre match drinkies?
  3. Sorted it with Opera browser, Chrome kept coming up with too many redirection messages.
  4. What a load of ****e on line. Looks like a phone call! Anybody else had difficulty?
  5. The airport bus doesn't run from the hotel though...better safe then sorry and deffo not paying around €90 for a taxi! I'm a skinflint lol
  6. Got to Malpensa terminal 2 before the 08:45 start of strike, flights seem ok, long wait though for my Man chesterfield flight at 16:45!
  7. 1310 Easyjet from MAN on Tuesday to MPX, three nights at Best Western Mirage, back Friday pm (hopefully)
  8. Also block 210, seems most posters are in that or 212! Anybody fancy doing a spreadsheet or graphic of where we are seated? Lol
  9. Yep, it's €4.50 24hrs. I downloaded the ATM Milano app from playstore to my phone and bought a couple of tickets to my phone, negating using the station machines, also has map and timetable info. Recommended!
  10. Yeah, sorry that is the specific site, though the express is run by Trenord.
  11. For those travelling to Malpensa you can visit the Trenord site, register and pre book tickets into Milan which are sent as a QR code to your phone. They have a discount on at the moment which reduces the cost to €20 from €26. Can save time pratting about at the aeroporto and save some money for beer !
  12. For anyone staying at the Best Western Mirage there is a bar called the Black Bull Irish Pub about 5 minutes away on Viale Certosa 89, Milan 20151. Ostensibly it's Irish because it serves Guiness! but is a locals pub. There is also The Mix Bar SNC on the same drag about 16 mins walk but only seems to open betwen 6am to 7pm !?. I am arriving Wednesday evening from Manchester to MPX so will be thirsty! Hope to meet a few of you mushes there
  13. Yep, likewise! I expect flights to Northern Italy to become as rare as hens teeth, though I would reckon members as opposed to ST holders will be flying from more diverse airports in the UK (and abroad, no doubt!)
  14. At last! #4977, Anybody else going from Manchester to Malpensa on the Wednesday? Mirage hotel near Saints Siro seems reasonable @ 130 quid for 3 nights.
  15. Is that the Best Western Hotel? Have booked Tues to Fri from Manchester to Malpensa £196... Just hope the tickets go on general sale! ?
  16. Mmmm.. the article was dated the 23rd I believe, so negotiations would have been yesterday I presume. With Stanciu coming off the bench last night and now returned to Bucharest, I surmise we did't make the price Becali was asking. I don' t understand the idea that the player is 'owned' or being 'bought' by an investment fund though? Seems very murky
  17. Further garbled google translation from a Romanian paper.....make of it what you will.... It has offer from the Premier League and Gigi Becali claims are not far from the amount submitted by the British. The departure to Manchester for the match against City in the play-off second leg Champions League landowner has revealed that talks with ... an investment fund for the new "ten" of the national team. From what it seems, and Steaua were given 7 million pounds Stanciu, but ask Becali 10. Final Negotiations would take place today just before the match against Pep Guardiola's band. "Tomorrow expect a response from the club in England to offer 10 million pounds. I do not know of any offer of 10 million euros from Celta. I know you were interested in two or three teams Stanciu, including one from Spain but have not made a formal offer. At Stanciu not want to get fooled, that he was worth 15 million and I could give it to 10. At this hour is negotiable. My strategy is to sell my goods at the maximum price. I was not contacted me a club in England, but an investment fund. Fund collaborates and who knows who give the player. I do not know who is interested club Stanciu only knows Fund. Maine is possible to give the ok to purchase Stanciu, "said Becali, announcing that it is possible that no Stanciu Nicusor not to come off the bench in the game from the" Ettihad Stadium ". Latest information shows that the group is interested Stanciu Southampton, which is legitimated international player Florin Gardos. 18. http://www.gsp.ro/cautare/tag/nicolae-stanciu-15900.html Reports that he's gone back with the team after the Man City game......looks to me like he is staying at Steaua from the article.....
  19. Nagy would be better to develop with Saints rather than Marseilles surely? I would think that ours is a better league to develop. Not sure on what their wage structure is to be honest. Suppose it is his (or his agents influence) that will decide the issue.
  20. The guy in the frame is, as alluded to earlier Adam Nagy from Ferencvaros TC. I have just come back from Budapest and met a guy that knows him from school who was working in Nagyi Palacsintazoja. Told me he wants to develop outside Hungary in a bigger league e.g. the Premier League but at a club that will give him lots of playing time to develop his career. Reckon this has legs!
  21. Very sad news. I remember meeting Malcolm at various away games in the early 2000s and the memorable trip to Aberdeen just after the cup final of 2003. A great all-round guy. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to Jamie and family. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
