  1. very clever, but I have tried that already & haven't found any Saints related links, or decent forum. perhaps were not as hot a prospect as we would like to think and I should try later in the week.
  2. if you go to user cp and then to edit options you will find... this will allow you change the style of your post's
  3. had a good season as manager & bit part player with Galway Utd (my local team) the season before last.

  7. I am sure I would be outbid in an auction but would happily pay for at least one print.
  8. I just caught updates from the second half on ssn so thanks for everyone's reports. ...a win, a clean sheet (first in how many?) & out of relegation zone... sitting here in Eire how can I complain? were only 3/4 points off mid table (is it achievable by xmas?) & & 12 points off the play off spot. i've just seen the goal on ssn, great play from Papa. Pardew interviewed after..."they didn't have a shot on target & got away with it a bit, we should have punished them on the break, but were pleased, we go to Walsall now, were out of the bottom four & worked hard to get here and want to start progressing (looks up - the table i imagine)"
  9. to cement my place as king nerd I decided to put together a spreadsheet, http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0ApLs1iWbOTHedHFPNUxIMnJiSzM0Nk9RNmFlcDdObGc&hl=en

  13. welcome to the emerald isle Le God - The Legend, a piece of friendly advice.... Leave Dublin (when the floods go away obviously)
  14. I think the opposite, IF we do manage to make it to Wembeley this year (at least once) and Marcus see's our sheer joy with success, it will make him want more for Saints. I am sure(hope) he would want to see a tour of europe (as the owner of Saints obviously) at some stage.

  16. sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone who has lost a lot of money as a result of Saints going into admin, but "investing" in a football club or anything for that matter is a bit of a gamble. I don't expect Paddy Power to write to me every time I lose a bet. & I don't really understand why people are giving out about the quality of the paper/printing, it's a letter, it's what it says that is important, unless I suppose you wanted to frame it.
  17. Charlton fans don't seem too pushed, this was the on page 4 of their forum (they are an unhappy bunch after recent performances ) http://www.charltonlife.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=29660&page=1#Item_0
  18. 8 different players on the score sheet
  19. our next league game is home to Brighton in 2 weeks time, and in the meantime we visit Bristol Rovers in the FA cup, and entertain Charlton in the JPT, how should we view these 2 games. Should we write off these games, rest key players to protect them from injury, & take the opportunity to give fringe players a chance to prove their worth? because we don't have much hope of winning the FA cup, the JPT is regarded by many on here as worthless. Should we concentrate on the league. or, should we aim to win these games, keep our good form going, and keep building our winning mentality. also these next 2 games are against teams in our league, many on here say we can beat anyone in the league, why would we set out not to win these games? finally the JPT is a real chance for silverware & a trip to Wembley & if we do manage go up this year this (hopefully) will be our last chance to win the JPT.........ever. opinions please
  20. 32 games left/64 more points required for promotion = 2 points per game required 20 wins, 4 draws & 8 losses.
  21. when was the last time we won 4 in a row? what is our record?
  22. 4 league wins in a row & when we beat Leyton Orient next week we will be out of the relegation zone.
