  1. Count me in +1, possibly +2.
  2. AVATAR Watched this on bluray last night having previously seen it at the cinema in 3D and all I can say is wow. Quite possibly the finest i've seen a movie look in this format and honestly preferred it to how it was shown at cinemas. Im still yet to be completely won over by 3D films as I find the screen just becomes a bit of a blur after a while. As for the film itself its certainly worth a watch, even though it is a very cliched story. Think one reviewers opinion that it was 'Dance with Wolves or Pocahontos' with aliens pretty much sums it up. As CGI films go though it is groundbreaking, and Pandora does look very real at times.
  3. We've got a building crew in at work at the moment, and one of the guys is your typical nasty mockney knuckle dragging skate. After just a day he'd spraypainted PFC in big blue letters on a bit of wood in the yard, and thinks it's ok to go around calling all my workmates scummers etc... So with this in mind I hope their dirty cheating club dies a horrible horrible death, and I hope it happens after they've sold a bunch of season tickets too,so their fans suffer that little bit more and that **** with the bell keels over from a broken heart.
  4. BBC Radio Solent is the only one left since Radio Hampshire went bust, but you'll struggle to get match coverage in Cheshire due to contractual issues.
  5. Congratulations on the needless insult, you tard.
  6. Pretty sure Dave's right hand man left us to join the ground staff at Wembley not long before it opened. Don't think it really matters who they get in,that pitch needs to be dug up properly and seeded instead of just laying turf on top of the gravel underneath. They should have considered putting a transparent/sliding roof on the stadium to allow more light in,just like the Amsterdam Arena rather than the pointless half sliding one they have.
  7. Congratulations on one of the most OTT posts i've ever seen on here. Does it make you feel good to write things like this from the safety of your computer?
  8. Pompey didn't go into admin until after the game with us,so can only presume its their share of the ticket revenue. Remember us putting out a statement at the time saying we weren't going to demand payment up front as we didn't need the money that badly.
  9. Credit to the groundstaff,I was quite concerned when Dave Roberts left that our pitch would suffer but it still looks immaculate week in week out! Anyone know if our ground staff still look after Bournemouths pitches?
  10. Can anyone recommend a good program I can download that will let my edit DVD's so they can be uploaded to youtube please? I've got dozens of various Saints VHS tapes that i've bought from the club shop/taped off Match of the Day etc that I recently backed up on to disc and following the Dell Classics thread on the Saints forum decided I want to start uploading them to benefit our growing fanbase. Cheers.
  11. The majority of the fans in court are so because they have been found guilty by association. So of the 20 odd due before magistrates it only took one or two of them to throw a stone and the police have charged all of them with voilent conduct as opposed to each seperate offence. Totally wrong IMO, the punishment should fit the crime, and if some fan can get away with stamping on a Yeovil supporters head then the fact that these lot are facing up to 5 years inside is a joke.
  12. Think somebody is winding you up,can get one for around £160 with games on ebay.
  13. Brentford is actually closer than 4 of those 5 'local' derbies funny enough! In fairness to the team tonight they certainly tried hard, was just one of those games. All in all I've enjoyed this season, seen some fantastic games and have enjoyed being a big fish in a small pond for a change. Looking to the close season with optimism now knowing we've got a billionaire owner and no need to sell any players. Onwards and upwards,COYR!
  14. S****horpe reached the JPT final last year and still managed to get promoted so don't think we can blame that. My blame lies with the 10 point deduction more than the cups.
  15. With respect,if you think that wasn't a red card then i'd hate to see the sort of tackle you think is worthy of one. If he took a whack in the face he should have gone down like he had, not kick the other guy to floor in the manner he did. His petulance could have cost us today and I hope AP has a strong word with him.
  16. Just got home, what a fantastic day out! Incredibly my luck away from home in the league is that bad that today was the first time i'd seen us get 3 points since Villa away in 1999!! We certainly rode our luck,Yeovil had chances just failed to take them. I'd say we had the best of the play for the first 35 minutes then it swung in their favour. No complaints about Schneiderlins red card, he was an idiot for lashing out and it could cost us, especially if Wotton takes his place for the next 3 games. Thought Fonte was lucky to stay on too, from where I was stood anyway, some refs would have shown a red! Otsemobor was ****ing gash today BTW,hope we sign a decent RB in the summer.
  17. Count me in Mike, already spoken to Jason. Should be a plus 1 as well, maybe 2.
  18. Bargain... http://www.ebuyer.com/product/174130?hpb=1
  19. Playing Barca isn't that outrageous an idea TBH. Plymouth Argyle had a pre-season friendly against Real Madrid a couple of years ago.
  20. I'm with Stu on this one too, considering the resources given to him AP has done an acceptable job and justified all money spent. If we don't go up this season then I really think we'll hit the ground running and finish in the top 2. One thing I am confident about is that even if we do lose players then we'll bring in very good replacements. In fact come next season I expect our squad to be even stronger than it is. In my life as a Saints fan no other manager has made as many great signings as AP and I trust his judgement.
  21. So let me get this straight, just a couple of days after David James comes out and says their last European Cup run nearly bankrupt them, they now want to appeal so they can play in it again? Hope they win.
  22. Think pretty much all neutrals were expecting Spurs to walk it today. The commentator mentioned a few times that today was meant to be the game that Spurs couldn't lose.
  23. This is the attitude that led to a Pompey win today IMO.
  24. I very much doubt it, all commentators this season have completely overlooked their pathetic attendances at Fratton. I imagine when the Skates go 4-0 down on Sunday their fans will spend the rest of the game chanting some Spurs players name to cover up what a joke club they are and convince the neutrals watching they're a great set of fans.
  25. The question confused me too though initially, started going through the entire list of managers we've had who are ex-players. And yes, Dexter is awesome, Season 5 should be very interesting.
