If Mark Hughes had been there today then he's far too high profile not to have been photographed. Has anyone seen one yet? No. If something was included in the matchday programme that was a bit dodgy then we'd have seen a scan of it by now. Has anyone? No. Was I happy we missed out on the playoff? No. Did it stop me going yesterday? No. FFS some people need to wake up and smell what they're shoveling. Think it's safe to say Markus was stranded due to the ash cloud over Switzerland,I really doubt he'd tear his nose off to spite his face by staying at home, what a load of crap! We saw how happy he was after we won the JPT just over a month ago, didn't look like he was that unhappy there did it. Stop listening to the local station that gets most of it's Sains gossip from here, and the local rag of a paper that's fit to wipe my arse with. Both of those media outlets should be encouraging and backing the Saints, not spreading rumours and lies about them.
  2. I'm torn between either Double Decker or a Boost.
  3. Lallana against Hartlepool for me.
  4. I imagine he was so desperate to score as he didn't want to end the season on 19 goals. 20 is a pretty massive milestone for a midfielder, espically at that age! I really hope he stays, he's come on leaps and bounds this season. Can't believe Wotte didn't rate him, what a fool!
  5. Congratulations on taking 2 weeks to come up with a reply, goes to show how slow the brain of the average skate works. Enjoy the summer of uncertainty whilst we count our billions. I'll be sure to wave next season as we pass you on the way up. Hope your club dies.x
  6. Was almost tempted to do IOW this year after the past 2 IMO had awful line ups,but decided to head over to Ireland with the Mrs and go to Oxegen Festival.
  7. Yep,crazy how time flies in football! Shame he was never given a decent run out in the team,he might even be our keeper now still.
  8. That's what I thought, but he doesn't qualify for team of the decade having left us in 97.
  9. Who's Taylor?
  10. I think Lowe only bought him here for one reason,to wind up Mandaric. If harry had been giving proper backing by Lowe he could have done a good job for us. A couple of million in the January transfer window the year we went down could have bought us a couple of decent defenders, instead we had to make do with Bernard and ****ing Davenport. Lowe's pompousness didn't go well with Arrys ****ney wideboy attitude and it was doomed from the start. Bringing in Clive Woodward was the final straw for Redknapp. Edit: I think Arry saw coming here as a bit of a 2 finger salute to Mandaric for getting rid of Jim Smith and bringing in Velimer Zajec behind his back.
  11. Svensson was injured prior to the game the previous season when they beat us 1-0. I honestly believe if he hadn't been injured in the warm up we wouldn't have lost that game, the Skates wouldn't have had a resurgence in form, and thus would have been relegated. Anyway with regards to Claus, there's clearly something not right with the bloke.
  12. Errr when did he play for us?
  13. Might chuck a tenner on the skates then,win/win either way. Sorry to be a pedant but we were 7/1 back in 76 btw.
  14. As deluded as Avram and the blue few are I don't actually think they've been that bad this season. Do people believe Huddersfield and Swindon are better teams than us?
  15. Worst - Swindon Best - Yeovil. Gorgeous day stood on the terraces, lovely drive down there, and a last minute goal that ended a 10 year hoodoo of me not seeing us win an away league game since Dec 99.
  16. As is my ass Mike, Ooo-err!
  17. yeah Wycombe ground share with the Wasps, was watching it yesterday too thinking how **** the pitch looked. Hate the fact St Marys is being used for the 2015 RWC,espically with it being during the football season.
  18. My plus 1 is I'll,so it's just me
  19. Agreed,I find it shocking that we're treating the game so meaninglessly, they're professional footballers, should be going out there to win even if there's nothing to play for.
  20. I like that,I like that a lot. I'd probably prefer stripes too but it's only for 1 season, would be a nice change.
  21. I'd be happy if we signed Carsley on some sort of rolling contract TBH. He's twice as good as Wotton and as others have said is the sort of player who will roll his sleeves up and get stuck in at **** grounds like Tranmere and Exeter. Those doubting his age should remember what an inspiration the then 39 year old Dean Windass was to Hull two seasons ago. If Pardew is looking out for an experienced holding midfielder then Matty Oakley wouldn't be a bad shout. Was immense for Derby the year they went up and appears to be doing very well in the same role at Leicester. Couldn't see him sticking it out should they succeed in the play offs and go up.
  22. Why bother telling people you've seen it then knowing full well everyone would be asking you to show it/describe it. Just like being ITK I guess.
  23. Wouldn't mind Lee Carsley on a rolling contract TBH. Twice as good as Wotton and as others have said would be the sort of guy who'd roll his sleeves up at places like Exeter and Tranmere and get stuck in. If not Carsley then an ex-Prem midfield general would be a good signing. As for his age I guess everyones forgotten 39 year old Dean Windass helped lead Hull to the Prem 2 years ago.
