Dean Hammond saying that Millwall are purposely trying to put Baz under pressure as they’ve “maybe seen something in a previous game that’s a weakness”. Yes Dean, that weakness would be his overall goalkeeping ability.

Nice one Baz

Can’t believe he’s dropped Manning and ArmA, maybe he reads the forum.

Was nice while it lasted, Leeds have been incredible to be fair. Getting wins when we could only manage draws. Fingers crossed we’ve got enough about us to make a date at Wembley.

That fucking game, honestly the range of emotions we went through that night. I’ll never forget the elation as Rasiak scored our third, I still watch the highlights sometimes just to see how mental we went in the away end when that went in. I still vividly remember Leon Best about 2 minutes after that having the opportunity to square the ball for an aggregate winner instead choosing to hammer it wide instead. The rain as we left the ground though, not just a bit of drizzle but absolute fucking stair rods. Got back to Southampton at 2.30am, home bed and up for work at 5.30am, understandably I wasn’t in the best mood that day. Someone else mentioned the 4-1 against Pompey at St Mary’s. What annoys me the most about that game is Pompey had a few players like O’Hara and some other triple barrelled name skate cunt that were banned from playing unless Pompey could prove they could afford to pay their wages. Needless to say the lied about being able to pay, those guys played and scored, and we lost. We had them on the ropes for a large part of that match as well, just David James keeping them in it. What a celebration when Lambert scored though.

Rarely a truer word spoken. Smallbone by name, Smallbones by nature. Never seen him put in a decent tackle, nor sprint to close down a player, he’s probably worried he’ll blow away. Could do with a weights programme to build him up a bit.

Playoffs it is then for fuck sake. Piss poor starting XI, this one’s on Russ.
-
This is worse than the first half against Hudds, and that was bad enough.

Decent presenter is Prutts, genuinely seems to know his stuff and always comes across well.

Absolutely MASSIVE result that. After Tuesday the wheels had the potential to well and truly come off, so tonight could prove to be one of the most important wins of the season. Didn’t play as well as we might have, but it’s understandable given the fatigue in the squad. At least now they get a couple of days rest and we should have Downes and Adams back for Tuesday.

The late travel back from Bristol, lack of training and recovery time to an already tired squad worries me greatly. Turn up half arsed in the first half like we did last night and Saturday and we’ll be in massive trouble.
-
To be fair I always expected the run to end against a team we wouldn’t necessarily expect to beat us, the shame is that we’ve lost the game in hand cushion against Bristol when we could have done with it against the tougher sides. My concern now is that the lads get back very late tonight, have a training session tomorrow afternoon, another Thursday and then travel straight up to West Brom, with no time for recovery. Thanks a bunch Sky Sports.

Martin VS Blackmore should be fun

Would have genuinely taken the loss at Watford rather than that last minute equaliser. Didn’t need the extra game and sure as shit don’t need a trip to go and get battered at Anfield. So many of the lads look fucked.

Unbeaten run over.

This really is shit.

Can see Potter going to West Ham. About his level really, and the perfect club to achieve mild success with following his ill fated Chelsea tenure.
-
Also, I can’t remember ever seeing us win a game 5-3 , can anyone recall from recent history if we’ve managed it?

Funny reading the thread and seeing just how many of us drew on the memory of the MK Dons comeback for hope at half time. Mental that it’s been 13 years, can still remember the celebrations like it was yesterday. Today will be one of those that live long in the memory too. The noise and celebrations once we finally took the lead were class. Huddersfield defied their league position with that performance, although the strength of our bench turned it around once they started to tire. Really starting to believe now, if we can just win our game in hand and earn ourselves a buffer in case we slip up we’re almost there.
-
Indeed.
-
Another keyboard fan, thanks for your input. That half was absolute dire, and it’s fair they know that from us mere working class.
-
I’m here and booed as unlike yourself I’ve paid money to watch this shit.
-
Damn. Could bring Stephens on and go 3 at the back. Might have to if we’re to rescue something.
-
Fingers crossed for an MK Dons-esque comeback. Get Manning off at Half Time, he really is shit. Think Huddersfield know it too
