    Man U Songs

That Ruud van Nistlerooy takes it up the arse song was great when we beat them back in 2003. Unfortunately they've probably heard all the witty chants from rival fans. Still,a few chants of 'one malcolm glazer' might anger a few.
  4. Under the stewardship of Hoddle i'd say Tessem was one of the finest attacking midfielders i've seen in a Saints shirt. As mentioned already though its when he was played up front his game suffered. As far as underated players go i'd add Ormerod and Kachloul to the list.
  5. Thats where they earned their point,in the 18 yard box, they didn't allow us to create the sort of chances we normally would. Kind of summed things up when one of our best chances is a 20 yard effort from Fonte.
  6. Awful first half, things certainly improved in the second though,we just didn't really create any guilt edged chances. 1 point isn't the end of the world, thats 4 from them this season so i'm pretty happy with that. Hopefully this will serve as a wake up call to people that we aren't going to win every week, no more 'Date we will go top" threads and the like, its going to require a lot of hard work and a little bit of luck to get there.
  7. Currently at the game, awful first half, look completely disjointed and lacklustre. Left side is massively ineffective without Lallana, and all we are relying on is long ball up to Lambert and Guly. Look nothing like a team that just won 6-0 whatsoever! Ref is having a nightmare, thats probably what you can hear the fans complaining about on the radio.
  8. I'm almost lost for words over this result. I expected it to be a hard fought game, and following on from the big win Saturday and big cup draw Sunday that it would end in stalemate tonight and i'd be happy with a point, but **** me thats an incredible result particulary with Oldham's favourable home record. As others have said its the fact we had 6 different scorers that gets me,the confidence must be flowing through the squad now. Apparently Fergie was there watching tonight, he'll be taking nothing for granted on the big day now.
  9. Cheers guys,i'll have a go at it myself I think. Some places are charging £30 just to look at it,**** that!
  10. Bring it on you bastards! Win/Win situation!
  11. Does anybody know of or have experience of any ipod repairers in the Southampton area? My ipod touch has suffered water damage and everything works perfectly as before, the only issue is the screen won't light up anymore, don't know if its a software or hardware problem. Any advice appreciated.
  12. Was chuffed to bits when I read saw the news this morning, nice to see the 11.25pm press release making a comeback too! Can't believe Wotte never rated Adam, what a clueless *****.
  13. I have to be honest, even if we were to reach the Premiership we're always going to be the sort of club that will sell players if the right offer comes in. Unless Cortese really does want to turn us into a Champions Legue team like he claims then I can't imagine us keeping hold of players once the big teams come sniffing. In the grand scheme of things £10 million is an obscene amount of money for a League 1/Championship player, and we'd be able to buy an incredibly able replacement for a 1/5th of the transfer fee, then potentially make a fortune with a sell-on clause. Snap their hand off I say.
  14. Even at that early stage of the game I was shocked he didn't get a yellow for that. Other than that I don't think the ref had a bad game, just inconsistent. Played a cracking advantage in the build up to our first goal.
  15. What a beautiful goal it was too!
  16. That really was one of the most attacking displays i've ever seen from Saints at St Marys, 8-0 really wouldn't have flattered us in the slightest. Credit to the entire team today, Lallana and Chamberlain seemed a little jaded at times but still put in a good shift, good seeing Chaplow getting stuck in throughout, and Fonte was different class at times. Keep all our players in the window and get some luck on the injuries front and we'll win this league. Best start to the New Year I could have hoped for.
  17. With respect it would be a bit unfair to compare Exeter to Wolves, whilst Wolves are languishing near the bottom of the table Exeter have had a fairly decent season so far and their results are not to dissimilar to our own. Whilst I still believe we should come out on top I don't expect it to be quite as one sided as some think. If Saints are to prove themselves as worthy title contenders then 6 points from 6 is a must tomorrow and Tuesday.
  18. Wasn't in the Kingsland today no,but aren't you an obnoxious ****** for acting all holier than thou about people having a bad opinion of a player.
  19. I was at that game too,and as I did on the day I still question why he couldn't have played with the same enthusiasm and heart as he did that second half all the time. I love that people keep reminding me that he still plays in the Prem as if I don't know. I never said he was a bad player,I said I thought he was **** when he played for us and know many many others agree with this.
  20. Sorry but Fuller was one of the laziest disinterested strikers i've ever seen in a Saints shirt. People didn't care that he came from Pompey, people cared that he didn't give a damn.
  21. Yep thats the one,the same Fuller who was absolute dog**** when he played for us.
  22. Agree with Thedelldays, from about 20 minutes there was only going to be one winner today. I put our slow start down to not having played competitive football for over 2 weeks, once we got into the swing of things we were totally unplayable. Good to see Lambert put in a performance like that of last season, hopefully that goal will be a springboard for him. Credit to Fonte and Jaidi at the back again, whilst Jaidi may not have the legs any more his aerial ability and man marking skills are invaluable in this league. Struggled to understand why Barnard remained on the bench for the whole of the match, thought Guly was woeful once again, one of the most frustrating strikers i've seen in a Saints shirt since Ricardo Fuller.
  23. Hope we get a permanent deal sorted for him soon, gave us a bit of bite in midfield when he came on today. IMO he's given more to the team in a few games than Morgan has in two and a half seasons.
