I personally think the big clubs should be capped on the amount of money they can spend on players. If United have a rubbish season they can just go out and spunk 200 million on Carlos kick A balls. What hope does anybody else have? This is what is killing the game.... Just the start of this season has been a bit meh I was like ok the new kit looks toilet! Lets have a butchers at our manager.... Who the hell is this guy? Then I watched the first few games and was baffled tactics wise we look clueless like we have gone backwards.... Players in wise hojberg looks the best I dont rate anyone else and for Boufal the man is injured I cannot see how one player is going to come in and get us playing like Barcelona..... I honestly think Puel will be gone by christmas call me a moaner This is my opinion the guy has looked out of his depth.

I am the same I think it is the Premier league which has become boring. I think the sooner the big clubs form a stupid super league the better..... Clubs like Man United have a bad season and they chuck 300 million at the team lol its not a case of skill anyone its predictable and boring. As for Saints call me a moaner or bed wetter I am being realistic we lack ambition should of pushed for the top 4 when we had the chance even if we had to spend a extra 30 million to do so at the time..... Everything so far about this season so far has been a bit pants.... Players in, manager hell even the kit design is gash! I think we will finish mid table this season and Van Djik will be out the door come summer....

Maybe you guys are right maybe it is the Premier league I am finding tiresome. Im losing interest with Southampton.... Had the best opportunity in recent times to go for the top 4 with players like Mane behind us and Koeman. But it is clear to see now that we are doing everything on a budget and this will come back and bite us on the ass... Call me a bedwetter or moaner I am telling it how it is we lack ambition and should of nailed downed our prized assets. I think our approach this season especially in the transfer market has been under whelming.... I cannot understand the formation we are currently using clearly it is not working so why continue to use weak tactics.... 1) drop this formation 2) Get a striker somebody who can finish 3) Claude will be gone before crimbo 4) Saints will never be top 4 not a big enough club no ambition......

Why the over analyzing and number crunching? We are weaker than last season it is not rocket science... With more games to play aswell. Tactics wise we have looked clueless and will either adapt eventually or will fade fast and Claude will be out the door. Saints and the youth teams are used to playing a sepcific way and this clown comes in and throws it out the window.... Doesnt make any sense...

I just cannot see us beating Arsenal with this stupid formation.... Wenger will know how to counter it off the bat im going for a 4-0 hammering to the Arseoles

Players havent adjusted to the Puel philosophy. Give it 10 games at least... Transfer window still open besides it's not like Koeman had us playing decent initially. oliver Burke would be a good signing, young massive potential fits the Southampton business model. Ziyech / Berahino / Dost and a decent Def mid That is the wishlist.

Have we put a bid in for Boufal? I have had time to think and believe the way we do business is smart. Sure we could go out tommorow and sign three Carlos kick a balls for millions. But that just isn't the way we do things. I think Redmond and Hojbjerg are fantastic signings. As for bringing in players I would go for Idrissa Gueye and Will Hughes both young and fit the mould. Then spend extra on Bas Dost.
