Will be interesting to see if the redevolpment will still include the changes that Moto GP wanted when they left Donnington to go to Silverstone.I think some of the changes included different grandstand and viewing areas as well as Gravel traps being changed on certain corners. I just have a feeling that although Silverstone couldn't wait to get hold of Moto GP when they lost F1 to Donnington, now they have what would of originally been their crown jewel event back any circuit changes will only be geared back towards F1.

I know it sounds stupid but just be as relaxed and calm as possible don't dwell on the negatives of what could go wrong to much.If your presentation is good and sound the people interviewing you are bound to take a certain amount of nerves into account, remember it's a stressfull situation and they have probably seen it all before. So don't worry and good luck. But if all else fails the above advice of not having a shyte in the interview is sound.

I have been reading the posts on here about the stealth bombers etc that were tracked and i always wondered why the Americans never tryed to fit out the SR-71 to carry any bombs. Now thats a great aircraft can fly at high altitude and go like **** off a shovel, surely that could off got into alot of targets and been gone before you new what happened.

There is very little viewing difference between 1080i and 1080p if you are using the set for normal tv or dvd viewing,it only seems to really be game consoles that show up the difference. Also when using a full HD signal there is a massive difference over standard.

One of my interests is the Land Speed Record so i have been following this new attempt since it was first announced that they would go for the 1000mph mark. What i'm interested in is the design of the car because back in 97 when Thrust SSC broke the record American Craig Breedlove was also on the desert at the same time running his car Spirit of America, now his car was more of a tricycle design which the thrust team had looked at and considered would have stability issues. As it happened Breedlove had alsort of problems which meant his car didn't get anywhere near it's full potential, also it rolled on it's side and did 180 degree turn at over 600mph before righting itself. Now move on 10 years and the Bloodhound car has outrigged rear wheels along the lines of the Spirit of America car and looks far more like a tricycle design,so i wonder if maybe now as the speeds increase this is the only sort of design to go for. When Thrust SSC broke the record they could not work out why their performance was dropping off so much as they got close to the sound barrier as the Spey enginges that were used had more than enough power. Then later in photo's you could see the sonic shock wave fanning out for about 150ft across the front of the car, also they noticed the front wheels were not turning as fast as they should of been. The cause of this turned out to be the desert in front of the wheels getting destroyed by the shock wave as the car passed over it. So maybe this car with the smaller frontal area and narrower underside will have no such problems. If anyone is interested the BBC did a documentery called the mission which has some really good footage on it of the whole SSC attempt. As well as Bloodhoud(which is a terrible name) there is another project called North American Eagle which has been having tests at the moment, they are going for 800mph but the car has been being built for about the last 10 years and has to be one of the worst looking LSR cars i have seen.

I notice straight away they said his wife used the golf club to smash the car window and pull him from the wreckage. Strange as it was a big 4x4 and the crash was low speed i'm certain one of the doors would of just opened.

Right well i have been reading everyones comments on here and thought i would put my perspective on what to buy,i repair most of the makes that have been mentioned on here so i will give you my views on them. Sony-always good quality but over priced and still paying for the name, customer service is ok but alot of the spares are far more expensive than other makes. Philips-Most of their sets are ok but would not be top of my list because the customer service is terrible and the cost of spares is stupid. Toshiba and Panasonic-i would recomend both of these makes to anyone, they have good build quality and performance, also their customer service is excellent.I have had both of these manufacturers replace sets outside of warranty,in their own words so as not to loose a valued customer. Also if spares are required normally they can have them with you next day and at a decent price. LG-formerly Goldstar-Their sets are ok average build quality but if it goes wrong customer service can be a bit hit or miss it seems to depend on what mood the person is in that answers the phone.Spares ok to get hold of but tend to be a bit slower than most. Samsung-At the moment this make seems to of got things about right, they are doing some very good deals but be warned the build quality of the cabinets can look a bit cheap.Saying that customers of mine have been very impressed with the picture quality and remeber in some cases this is on a set half the price of some of the competition.I have seen though on some of their 32 inch sets only 1 scart socket and HDMI socket, this can be a pain but a switching box for about a tenner over comes this problem. All of their 40 or 42 inch models have multiple sockets as you would expect. Customer service is ok and spares easy to get hold of,but they are not keen to replace a set. Anyway hope the above helps out a bit. -
Good to see Gordon Brown couldn't even get her name right, kept calling her Ashdown.

Well for one both of them are a lot more mobile than Valuev and throw plenty of punches in there fights also i think that at least one of them would beat Haye.I can't remember which one it was though that was beating Lennox Lewis until a bad cut stopped the fight. I thought that Haye's management reckoned the pay off Ruiz was given to stand aside in the Valuev fight also ment he gave up his right as mandatory challenger.
-
I see yesterday that both Klitchkos said they would make him wait to get a shot at them as they didn't take him seriously, and were tired of spending there money to promote or instagate two fights so far which Haye has backed out of against them.
-
Also if i remember rightly although he won the fight Froch got knocked down about 3 times in his last fight. Have never rated the bloke and it's easy to mouth off when the weight division he is in is fairly week at the moment.

Strange then that Tony Blair recently said he was actually very lucky to inherit one of the healthiest economies of any incoming goverment. The sad thing is regardless of the current financial situation the labour party have ended up doing what they always do and that is keep spending until we are in masses of debt, they even got a poor deal selling off a load of our gold reserve.
