If you could change one thing about your appearance.....
OLYMPIC replied to saint_stevo's topic in The Muppet Show
A bit more hair would do me. -
Currently reading Christine by Stephen King and Michael Palin the Python years. Christine is just one of those books that i can read over and over again. The Michael Palin one is good when you get used to the diary format of it and gives a good insite into the relationships behind Monty Python.

No i believe people should be ok to go back to their chosen profession, but a footballer isn't a normal person he is often held up as a role model to others.
-
I hope that when he is released no club in any league goes near him,i mean what sort of message would it send to young fans when one of there players has killed two kids.

Street kings-not to bad but all been done before. Doomsday-just a poor mad max rip off didn't expect to much from it so not to disapointed. Dark knight-really enjoyed this one far better than the first one,and Heath Ledger steals the show. Mr Wood****-for some reason i watched this on sky the other day and have to say i enjoyed the good childish humour.

Also see that Simon Clifford is linked with a role there as well, isn't this the same bloke that was made a laughing stock down here for his ideas.

Looks like he aimed for the concrete, where else did this person think he would aim for.

Load of old crap and it keeps getting the time Reaper is on pushed back.

At least with lower gates we are still getting some money for being on telly more.

Explorer that would be good.

Yeah i know what you mean,it's just that i have been doing this for so long now it holds no interest anymore. The daft thing is as the credit crunch bites i have started to get more work in over the last few months. But just have this feeling that times passing by and if i don't do something soon i will be stuck here in another ten years.

Now i am 34 and have worked for myself for the last ten years carrying out electrical repair work on televisions, hifi, camcorders etc but now i just feel like it's time for a change any ideas? I am not looking to stay in the same trade but not sure what else to do.

One of the papers said that they have been advised to look at appealing through a british court as they would stand more of a chance. Also Sheffield utd players are looking to sue for lose of earnings due to taking a pay cut when relegated.

I think it would only not be fit for purpose if he had it in writing that it would be future ready/hd ready.

Although John Lewis give 5 year warranties i believe, and they tend not to like people kicking up fuss in store so they just change the set.In the past i have had customers getting set's replaced by them miles out of warranty, though this because of faults and not lack of research on the product.

Last year i used American airlines to New York not a bad service it was on time both ways, and inflight service was pretty good.

I agree Dexter is very good and i stumbled across it on ITV1 but like many things they couldn't help moving the time it was on,also got well into Prison Break.

I think the Poulter/Rose pairing really has more to do with the fact they are friends that get on well together and seem to work when paired together. This time round i am not so confident of europe winning i think Faldo will rub the yanks up the wrong way to much, and i have a feeling the atmosphere might get like Brookline when they invaded the green thinking they had won.

I must admit it will be interesting to see the Lib Dems win the election with only about a 12% share of the vote so far.

It's a strange road and i can see how there is so many accidents when your on a bike each lane is wide enough so you can filter at speed and when it's quite people just seem to ignore the speed limit i for one have been guilty of that.Be it a car or bike though you just can't account for what people will do pulling out of side junctions and maybe more roundabouts or traffic lights would help.

I do 8 workout sessions a week 5 for weights and 3 for cardio, never miss a session and have been doing this since i gave up smoking about 7 years ago.

I am just looking at renting a two bed cottage out in the country but it has oil fired heating does anyone have any experience of how expensive this is to run?

As someone said earlier having visited the site as it was last year i would go again when the new freedom tower is finally finished just to see how it changes the look of the area, and what permanent memorial might be there. I must admit when you visit the museum it's the actually seeing the everyday things that were recovered that makes it more sad. Also makes you think to a degree how lucky we have been that the terror attacks that we suffered have not been of the same scale. Looking back now it is a day in our lives that will define to some degree the rest of our life,if you think just about security how much is different to the time before 9/11 the security at airports etc.
