The no-fly zone limits were in line with the standards originally agred between aircriaft manufacturers and airlines.

likewise those with foreign names

Has anyway actually ever heard a muslim in this country say that an England flag offends them?
-
Good spot, the list also includes Dekehlia which is the other main base in Cyprus. It also has "Isla Malvinas" in brackets next to the Falkland Islands for some reason.
-
I think we should go for players from Tanzania.
-
we aint no hooligans, this aint a football song, three lions on my chest, you know we can't go wrong
-
Not quite, 6/7 players out of 22 players playing will pick up a similar injury for every 1000 minutes played. Seems a bit high to me.
-
Great game, my brother is a town fan so I may well go for another trip to Wembley. Charlton won't have any parachute payments next year so maybe we could pick up a couple of players cheap, despite the penalty miss Bailey looks good whenever I seem him play.

Started doing this but got bored after a week. My start point was pretty low so I decided to do it over 12 weeks, I reckon 6 weeks is a bit racy. You need to be careful if you are after rapid weight loss. The temptation is to go all guns blazing for the first few weeks but it is easy to get either over-tired or disheartened and then return to bad habits. My advice is start off gradually and then up the intensity as you go along. It can be hard to go the gym etc after a long day at work so might be worth considering incorporating exercise into your normal routine day e.g. cycling to work etc

You can bet that a Russian newspaper wouldn't have reported one of their officials if the tables were turned. Our tabloids just love failure and bad news. They'd rather England crashed at burned in the first round in South Africa than say a semi-final exit.
-
drove along Albert Rd here in Southsea just after final whistle - not many happy faces lol Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw storie teller in his official club outift strolling along with the team before the game. Must make those already laid off by the club and other local creditors absolutely pig-sick to see that c*nt enjoying his day out. makes a mockery of the administration.

To soften the blow of the unbearable I've stuck a bit of cash on Pompey. Win in full-time is 12-1, win in extra time is 50-1 and win on pens is 40-1.
-
another priceless quote, they really are a deluded bunch of ****s: "but if your asking why? would he buy us then try ' absolute worship from the best fan base in the world that are desperate for good news' and a man that could turn around any clubs fortune, new toy and all that, new challenge."
-
you do wonder when these messages are written in text speak.
-
I had a tenner on Pompey to beat Spurs but it didn't count as it went to extra time.
-
Might not be such a bad thing. If any of the directors are found guilty of wrong doing it could lead to points deductions.
-
you could look at from the other angle. the team at home in the second leg might get home advantage for an extra 30mins - this negates the away goals advantage.

I went to a FA cup match at Fulham and sat in the front row in the away end. If those are the seats that are cheap then I'd pay the extra for a seat elsewhere.
-
looks like Pompey are an unappealing side for the neutrals - can't remember there being any returns for our appearance in the Cup final http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Another-1000-Tickets-For-FA-Cup-Final-954.aspx damn you warsash

Clarkson: The end of an error
anothersaintinsouthsea replied to doubleonothing's topic in The Lounge
Semantics my arse. How many voters, ondering their choice, thought "I'll vote for Han****, I remember him leaving Labour for the SDP which was basically Labour anyway, so I'll vote for him instead of the Labour candidate". Just admit you got your facts wrong. -
Even then the financial irregularities were fairly low-rent - IIRC the 3rd party was a holding company of the football club and it wasn't suggested that there was anything wrong outside of football rules. Expect Pompey to get more than that if tax dodging is revealed.
-
Nothing worse than trying to sound clever but then getting basic facts wrong.

FFS read what I posted earlier - "boom and bust" is an ecomonic term which refers to short periods of growth followed by short periods of contraction and then growth and then contraction and so on. I doubt we are 'back where we were 10 years ago" but in any case it wasn't "boom and bust".
