No atheism is not "a belief" it is just an absence of belief. Equating it to religion is just lazy. Dawkins advocated stoning or execution in the name of atheism lately? Thought not.

Yeah and guns don't kill people, people kill people etc
-
How's about that then

Holloway: "Don't call me a liar" Did anyone call him a liar?
-
Agreed. Missus wanted to watch it and was glad we did.

Did the rat have a smug demenour? probably part of the rodent liberal eilte.

People take the **** but its true. Each one attending a home match spends at least £1000 a time on beer and pies contributing £300m to the local economy a year. It's true because a Portsmouth councillor said so.

Now his court troubles are over how about Callum Davenport?

I wonder what Experian would say?

wow £13m per L1 home match! Let's say their average crowd next year (being generous) is 13,000. So that's £1000 spent by every spectator every game. Lol is each fan buying themselves 300 odd pints?
-
Yep, people tend to underestimate the quality of league 1 but you only need to look at how the teams that got promoted from L1 in the last few years have done in the Championship to see that is a mistake. There will be half a dozen teams that think automatic promotion is realistic and a further seven or eight will expect to challenge for the play-offs.

I thought Guly was superb, clearing off the line and then bagging the winner.

Is this from the same source as all of Corp Ho's pimpey takeover rumours a couple of years back?

Lords reform to be abandoned - Are the Lib Dems...

is that because you sell a **** product which they still buy? I meant in the sense that any business or indeed political party has to give the customer (or voter) what they want or they won't be successful. -

According to the Lib Dems.... well even if true they'll still be perceived as a party that got shafted by the Tories. -

It was in reference to the likes of Clegg enjoying higher eduction for free and then voting to bring in charges of £9k a year. Some what cheeky IMO. -

Hard to see many mechanics being impacted by a increase to higher rate tax. -

And said mechnanic would like his kids to be taught by university educted teachers and receive medical attention from university educated doctors and nurses. That's a woeful argument even if said mechanic was a net tax payers which might not be the case anyway especially if he's got kids. -

Personally I was in favour of an increase in higher rate tax (and I say that as a higher rate tax payer). I would have respected Clegg a lot more if he'd have offered to repay the cost of his higher eduction. -

Well more fool you. I'd rather pay £150 a month for 5 years than £100 a month for 22.5 years.... -

It should have been pretty obvious to them that: if you like the coalition vote Tory at the next election, if you don't like them don't vote Tory or Lib Dem. -

It doesn't fly in the face of the opposition to fee rises. The policy may be egalitarian but if isn't received in that way then it will still fail. So £9k a year is better than £3k a year? OK. -

So if you don't support the LDs you're either thick or ideological? And I thought the customer was always right...... -

Introducing fees has already led to a decline in numbers mainly from the state sector, plus the existing attendance is already overwhelmingly middle class. -

Thanks, more of a rhetorical question, I already knew that Clegg had no principles.
