Articles like this one underline why we shouldn't be involved. It's written by an Italian journo captured by a rebel faction http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/sep/15/domenico-quirico-my-hostage-ordeal Comments below the article suggests he's written another piece in which he claims to have overhead rebels claiming responsibility for the gas attacks. Whatever IS the truth, it is one massive **** sandwich and we shouldn't get involved. -
I expect that everyone on here will say they have high IQs. Most will bull**** but I won't lie about my IQ score of 184.

Fair play, good reply although I don't quite subscribe to your view that you don't promote your interests when times are tough. If the likes of the teachers didn't stick up for themselves the Government would have tried to curb their pay and conditions even more.

This can mean only one thing.... ......you've made contact with THE man in the know...... .....a reliable Pompey insider..... .....someone who was bang on time and time again...... ....it's the return of Corp Ho!

The likes of the Guardian have been banging on about zero hours contracts for ages. You do remember that the minimum wage was brought in by "the left" and opposed by "the right"? Have you done anything to support the common working man on zero hour contracts or minimum wage (or both) being exploited with no job security or benefits or do you just use them as a convenient stick to beat public sector workers? Your line of argument is just whatabouttery: no one who has a "decent" job should ever complain or strive for better conditions because another group of workers has it worse off. It's a recipe for a race to the bottom and in that scenario the "common working man" gets an even poorer deal.

So you're arguing for increased union representation throughout the economy?

I wouldn't be a teacher for the money they're on, my wife is a teacher who puts in long hours and has to deal with scumbag kids every day. It's rediculous to suggest that people should simply change careers. People do extra training and spend years cultivating their careers, you can't just write it off and do something else. The Govt has a massive monopoly on vocational workers and are abusing their power at the moment.

Thanks Trousers, unfortunately close but no cigar! I had in my mind a thread that emerged just after they announced the harbour-dome which was hilariously unrealistic, not just because it was costing something like £900m (lolz!!!1!), and Ho maintained it was a real possibility. Classis nostalgia nonetheless. I miss Ho. In fact he'll probably read this - Dear Ho, Please come back to our message board. We'll be nice to you I promise. Love ASIS xx

I'd love it if someone could dig out from an archive the thread where Corp Ho was arguing that the Toiletdome was a viable scheme. Absolute comedy gold.

Guardian online. Don't buy actual papers anymore.

in true Corp Ho style I'm ****ing myself at that last photo. ****, **** kit and he's looks so uncomfortable.

Basically what I've said all along - they're not "shares" they're a contribution to working capital (i.e. wages). The only people definitely able to sell their stakes are the HNW individuals.

which are wrong then?

Portable DVDs for the kids. This summer we did UK to Austria in one go and didn't have any tantrums from the kids. If you get them I'd also suggest headphones as listening to Peppa Pig whilst you're driving isn't fun. -
The club had already been saved. So this little chap's pocket money is basically going straight to working capital - effectively £5 a week to Patrick Agyemang.

Beat me to it, was going to say "everyone who's already posted on this thread". Other than that I hate blokes who wear scarves when it's not cold and blokes who wear those stupid woolly hats that they place in such a way that it sits on the back of the head and doesn't cover their fringe.
