A better solution would probably be to have a 20mph speed limit and put in a roundabout......
-
In reality if there were a shed more cyclists on the roads then safety levels would actually go up since they'd be fewer cars and the remaining cars would knowingly have to pay more heed. Just come back from a week in Holland and the extra number of people on bikes is striking.

Redknapp the guy that didn't rate him and wanted to offload him to the Championship? Whether or not he'd better if he'd have stayed with Saints for a season or two is unmeasurable.

Still superior to our current shirt. I preferred to the sash shirt to any others. -

I'll be glad if Wet Spam keep Fat Sam for many years to come. They'll never amount to anything more than mid-table playing ugly football. -
Easily solved, you could ask easier questions and set a higher benchmark. You have a point though - what is the use of doing a degree if your mark is so low - are any employers going to be impressed by just passing?!
-
This sums it up well. There is just too much depth in the squads of the teams above us for us to realistically compete much higher than we are right now. I doubt we'd ever be able to spend the money required unless we had an owner who wanted to emulate Chelsea or City. Our hope is that the academy will continue to provide reliable Premier League quality players like Chambers and JWP but also every few years produce someone special like Bale who can either be sold for mega bucks and/or inspire the team to finish a few places higher.

Don't understand your last sentance. Yanukovych, Putin's man, is massively corrupt.
-
hhhmm prepare for a sarcy comment in that case, journos hate admitting they've got something wrong.
-
I see the Camp Nou was a third empty for their recent match against Valencia, fecking **** poor getting only 66,969 punters through the gates. If the skates had a stadium with a capacity of 100,000 they'd be getting at least 90,000 of the most pashionat fans in the world week-in-week-out against the likes of Torquay and Northampton. FACT.
-
I doubt they'd be interested in Jos.

**** off you ****

Plenty have but you seem determined to carry on with your boring schtick.

Can you make a comment without coming up with another strawman?
-
Another strawman, please don't.... ...No he's better than Bent, not sure what he's got to do with anything. Bent used to be a great poacher but if you stopped the supply you could normally stop him. Now his finishing was worsened and he's lost a yard of pace. As for Carroll he had the physicality to unsettle any defence and so I'm glad he's not playing especially with Lovren out. IMO his style isn't suited to international football because he lacks mobility (not a problem for West Ham's direct style) and will be regularly pinged by refs.
-
As usual you've created a bit of a strawman so that you can continue your "too cool for school" schtick but nevertheless I salute you for devoting the time necessary to make nearly 23,000 posts on a mongboard that you so clearly dislike and think is beneath you. My personal view is that most people who've slagged Carroll in the past on here have done it from the point of view of Carroll undeservedly getting England recognition over SRL. Carroll on his day is a massively handful so I'm glad he won't be playing againsts Saints. However I'd be very dissappointed if he makes it into the England squad because, as this episode clearly shows, is a walking red-card.
-
He's struggled to operate at full potential in the last few months but that's more a reflection of his age and playing loads of games in a high intensity position. He needs a rest now and will come back better than before. Lallana had several years at a much lower level to hone his game, we need to be patient with JWP and it WILL pay dividends.

Regardless of why the left Sky I don't miss them. The likes of Chamberlain are much better than Keys and Gray's over excited gushing was so grating.

This has no effect on the purchase price when the seller themselves is solvent, the purchase price will be calculated on the basis that there's no debt and then any debt remaining in the club will just reduce the price.

Pompey fans *****ing about getting youngsters taken from under their noses all forget that current hero/zero Jed Wallace (supposedly their star player) was bought from Lewes for peanuts when he was aged 16.
-
Gives you a raging hard on doesn't it tough guy. Perhaps one of the biggest losses to UK national security was that a hero like you chose to be a keyboard warrior on the interweb rather than becoming the next James Bond.

This debate was done to death when people were wondering how many points we needed to get promoted to the Prem. To ensure you finish 3rd from bottom you need to match the points that teams typically get when they finish 3rd from bottom, not second from bottom.
-
But if you are the second bottom team then you need to get more points than 3rd bottom to swap places and stay up. How many points would have kept up Hereford?
-
How many points did Hereford need to stay up?
-
Not this debate again: two seasons ago Hereford went down with 44 points. By your logic to survive that season would have needed 45 points? Wrong! Barnet finished 3rd from bottom with 46 points so a points haul of 45 points wouldn't have been enough, 47 points was needed.
