Not disagreeing, though I'm looking forward to seeing Theo play in various positions. Great to have new options in the team. and Ralph will use them well I'm sure.
-
Hopefully not rare any more.

It's revealing that the big difference between this season and a year ago is that our best half is now the second half, and ending strong - instead of throwing points after a winning start. Yes!
-
'Arry didn't want to. He only played a team of kids to prove that inexperienced youngsters would be beaten. They were. And those wasted points might have made a difference to our fortunes.
-
I hardly think Walcott is another has-been. He brings terrific experience and skills to a squad that includes a lot of young inexperienced players learning their trade. He will have to prove his worth, sure. But he arrives with loyalty and commitment to do juts that. He knows that had he prolonged his development at Saints fa bit longer he would have become an even more accomplished player. He surely intends to train hard now, and Ralph will make that happen. Theo knows that Saints fans will be his toughest judges. Theo, welcome back!

What if Theo were to come on loan, subsidised by Everton?

I know Boufal has been erratic, varying between brilliant to ordinary, but it is a shame that we might not see him in a Saints shirt once more. I get the risk of injury, and we ned the money.
-
Play Boufal. I just want to see him destroy them again! At least put him on the bench and bring him on in the second half when the game has creaked to a stalemate!
-
Vestergaad may not be the fastest, and he has made mistakes, but he chalked up a lot of stops when he was playing last season. In the circumstances I think he should start.
-
What's the present contractual situation regarding Salisu? He hasn't ben seen as far as I know, which is a pity..
-
Don't underestimate Brentford. Narrowly missed Premiership and with their tails up, full of enthusiasm and young talent. I hope it isn't banana skin time.
-
I so hopethat Gao and LD go soon. Anything to get their hideous logo off our shirts.
-
I notice that the gossip in Birmingham is that Aston Villa are intending to offer £10million for Obafemi. West Brom are also interested.
-
Saints improved when Che cam on to the pitch. More vigour. He's like Long in some ways. Provides pace and distracts opposition defences,, though not netting himself. We would be a weaker team without him.
-
I think we will win. However we surely cannot be as energetic as we have so successfully been in recents days. Brighton will be fighting for their lives. They know that we haven't been doing well at home. So it's going to be a different type of game and the result will be uncomfortably close. 2-1 Saints, with goals from Che and Ings.

Interesting. But who would you guys prefer to be relegated if end of season's results meant it had to be one out of Brighton or Bournemouth? For me, definitely Brighton.
-
For me, a victory over Brighton is absolutely vital. A victory over Bournemouth is also vital. I want Saints to achieve at least 11th final position this season (which will be a magnificent achievement) However I confess to having a soft spot for Bournemouth. They have been a sort of feeder club for Saints for years with Lallana having begun his career there.. And like Saints , they narrowly avoided going out of business following administration. They have been playng attractive, positive football too Then - correct me if wrong, wasn't it a timely victory of theirs that helped us avoid relegation last season? I am not suggesting that I would want anything other than a Saints viceroy against both Brighton and Bournemouth. However, I would be less aggrieved if Bournemouth obtained a point from Saints than if Brighton did. Because I would love to see Saints v Bournemouth matches next season. I expect bricks and mortar in my direction.

Interesting. Good to revive the sash again, however... I like the version with the sash from bottom left to top right, but not the reverse version (bottom right to top left) which weirdly looks like looking into a mirror. . Why on earth does Gao's horrible logo have to awkwardly splatter over the sash? Why couldn''t the sash have been wide enough to encompass the whole logo.. The versions with the white logo over a narrow red sash on the white background is particularly gash. Hohum, at least Gao didn't design the while thing. (Or did he?) I predict low sales again. I think we're going to be laughed off the field. ffs employ a competent designer next year! PS please reassure me that we're not going to have a blue version? Skates and Brighton blue? Surely not.
-
Anything is possible of course, though I'll be happy of we can keep a defeat down to a two goal margin.
-
Whether we are good enough to compete in Europe is more important than speculating on achieving eighth place, and will hang on the ability of our fringe players like Smalbobe, Adams and others to do well in the remaining games. It is important imo that the boss gives every opportunity to these talents of the future now. Then let's see.

Only a genius could score while pulling his socks up.

You/re not an exam moderator by any chance, Harry? Why deduct 1 mark from Ingsies imperious performance? What bit wasn't perfect on this occasion?
-
Quite, but I don't wish to end the season on a frustration 37 points.
-
Let's get to 40 points first, or when we're winning a match by a couple of goals. I'd like to see more of him too.
