  1. So who could he have picked that do score goals?
  2. Not before new signings do something useful
  3. This is it. Only our non-strikers score
  4. So that's our January transfer business sorted.
  5. Interesting points, but we mustn't forget that many stars of the past have taken longer to become quality players. Philips comes to mind. Time is not on our side for our present needs, but have we become impatient? I agree it is worrying if developmental links between U21's and first team are not happening. Also, do we now have the best coaches in the development squads since Dodd left?
  6. Last line yes.
  7. Why? We need the best players for a bottom half team heading south. Surely?
  8. Did not Clasies' and JWP's replacements coincide with our late goals against Arsenal?
  9. I agree. Charlie Austin has become an essential now, more so since it is possible Pelle will be off. Don't wait for that to happen and panic to find a replacement. And QPR aren't going to be promoted. Who else is there? (If Pelle doesn't go, with Austin we have competition and positive choices upfront.)
  10. So this Saints Forum is telling Koeman no. That's it then.

    Midtjylland

Manure are there for taking. Anyone travelling to support ex Saints Sparv?
  12. It was not so long on here, after we beat Chelsea, that this forum - and the OS - was awash with smug over-confidence and complacency. We are all to blame. Now we need a little realism. Players do not become bad players because of a loss of form. Blaming individuals is pointless. It is time in training to realise strengths and tackle weaknesses. While we the supporters can continue to give full encouragement to all the team. Gaz for example made a succession of top class saves, but many only gave him grudging approval. That is stupid. He grew in confidence as the match progressed and his performance was the positive of the match. We have always stood by Saints through thick and thin. The team will come good if we continue to do so..
  13. Always high quality images. But quite honestly, I'd like to see shooting practice - images that show they can shoot low and accurately, not hoof in front of goal.
  14. Mane behind Pelle with Long and Tadic on the wings. That is where the forwards click.
  15. If Mane goes in January, get Charlie Austin (assuming Vardy ain't available).
  16. Get Matt Le Tiss in to teach them how to shoot. How come our professional footballers hoof every opportunity in front of open goals? We could have wrapped this game up in the first 20 minutes.
  17. Show passion like Bompey did yesterday for goodness sake, but from the start!
  18. I don't understand why referees allow blatant man-handling within good view of themselves and the crowd
  19. Our players were asleep in their pyjamas and were lucky not to concede more goals. No excuses.
  20. I don't think we are being asked to sing the French National anthem
  21. I'm astonished that so many are against it. It hurts no-one. It is about respect, and says a lot for empathy with France and French football supporters, of the horrors that have happened to them, and will happen again. And will happen randomly in England somewhen, sadly, as sure as daylight. Then, some English football fans will inevitably, statistically, be caught up in it. And it could have been England playing France. How can we be aloof?
  22. After Paris, security in stadiums have a new dimension, and it has to start with fan responsibility. Expect the club to take flares lit in the crowd seriously. And I hope they do.
  23. I thought Ramirez was better, more lively, more effective, on their cameo appearances recently.
