Ballsy had a lot of bookmakers to feed too

Don't knock Steve Bruce. He might not get us into fourth place, but he is unlikely to get us relegated. Isn't that our main aim any more?
-
Lucky then for Portsmouth their fans aren't running their club. oh
-
I went to the stadium to see the statue before it was unveiled. The long strange appendage shape sticking up from where the shoulder supposedly was looked really weird through the cloth even then, and quite spooky in the night. Well doen Leon. for paying for the new Ted. I hope you got some change out of the scrap metal. I went online to view the sculptor's artwork. Actually, good quality natural history subjects for table presentation pieces. He was clearly inexperienced at sculpting people and working to this scale - and he must have been a skate!

Club call also say he's rejected us, in the same site)

Frank de Boer is not interested in replacing Ronald Koeman at Southampton, according to his agent. Read more at: https://www.clubcall.com/southampton/saints-delivered-second-manager-snub-1812368.html

Saints announce Virgin Media as new main club sponsor
eelpie replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
That would be amazing - but I hope it won't be Virgin Media Stadium - that would be sad. -
Don't we want Koeman to go to Everton?
-
Gardening Leave would surely still mean we have to pay him his current contract, plus his temporary replacement. Better that SFC doesn't overdo the compensation claim lest Everton decide it is too much bother to continue attempting to sign Koeman.
-
The FSA disclaimer also applies to us.
-
Which of FDB, AVB and Pellegrini's management styles best fit the profile of Saints playing style?
-
That's below the belt
-
Except that if they can't agree compensation RK won't be going anywhere unless he is sacked. Then we won't be getting loadza swag in compensation. We might be paying him for this year, perhaps on gardening leave, when he doesn't want to be here.
-
Why not Pardew? He made the very first important signings and got us on the recovery road. Are you upset that he is thought to have been ****ging a player's wife?
-
I'm waiting for the Sin to splash this story lifted from SW
-
It would certainly expose and isolate Koeman in a difficult job at Everton
-
If that's the case and if Koeman's negotiations go tits up between Everton and Saints, SFS will have to sack him for disloyalty; so we won't get 2-3 million euros compensation from Everton. That would be sad.
-
This list is not definitive for those who are getting uptight. And not a short list. It's a bit of fun.
-
You're getting emotional. Stick to the OP.
-
He has been mentioned
-
Is it time for a poll? Some suggested names for our next manager keep recurring. Yet Koeman could actually still be here if Everton walk away from Saints compensation demands, which would be interesting since that would mean that he remains our manager. So from this list, who do you think would be the BEST for us? One preference only, giving a reason. FD Boer Emery Pellegrini Eddie Howe Gary Neville Roberto Mancinii Gary Neville Jurgen Klinsmann Koeman (remaining, if his negotiations with Everton break down) Another (say who) It will be difficult not to be emotional about this, but state who you think will be the BEST manager for the job. (Mods, if you do not think this should be a poll, merge with New Manager thread)

It's your own fault, Alps for reading the Sin
-
Thank you for not putting it in words.
-
But as I write it has not been reported that he has actually yet agreed terms with Everton. This means that (although unlikely) this could fall through and he could still be Saints manager seeing out his contract. Would that still be alright?

The one that won't be named the Ronald Koeman stand?
