  1. Anyone with a pair of boot straps could see we had amassed a squad that included drifters. Unfortunately Gao also wanted cash for some of the better players.
  2. So pay Ings whatever Ings wants. A £20,000 release clause is nothing. He is easily worth two players to our squad alone ,one on the pitch and also off it. Keep Insy and build a new squad around him, JWP, Armstrong, Salisu and Romey. Yeah.
  3. It must be time for our customary storming finish to a season. One win will do me. I hope the players aren't packing their holiday bags already. Seriously, we can do better than we have. Let Ingsy be our inspiration
  4. Any streaming access for the game? (for the benefit of fans that don't have Sky)
  5. 0-1 to Saints. JWP penalty on 10 minutes. Match abandoned when Liverpool fans invade the pitch with red flares blaming VAR.
  6. This is worryingly beginning to resemble our Relegation season when Saints' exceptionalism did not reflect onfield performances, as we slid downwards into the Championship. The team have had time to recover. There is no excuse this time..
  7. I agree. Nothing but the best team available, and nothing but the best performance from all the players. Imagine the humiliation and devastation to morale if we can't beat WBA. That would not be way to approach a semi final..
  8. It surely must be clear to most that from mid-season exhaustion has been a factor in individual player's' mistakes and loss of form. It has been an attritious campaign in a shortened season for many clubs, noticeably smaller clubs who do not have the resources to employ several high quality cover for all places. Saints' high tempo game is another factor. Yes, Beds is a very good player who could do with a rest right now. I'd say on the bench, in case Salisu sustains an injury. We are stretched.
  9. High Score draw. It's going to be an entertains game. Do not underestimate WBA anymore.
  10. I'd like to see Ings coming on md-game. Not a full 90 mutes for his first game back. How good it is to have choices in midfield and attack again.
  11. I always liked our bold red stripes with thin black outlining. Striking. However never liked the way the sponsors name looked like it was clumsily stitched on.
  12. Good. I'd be even more excited if Hummel could sponsor the signing of some quality defenders
  13. How about a ten minute sin bin for the officials?
  14. Any TV links? I don't have BT.
  15. A very good side. Don't let us forget though, that there are quite a few returnees who may not be match fit. So let's hope the game doesn't go into extra time. Radio Times is predicting an extra time win for Bournemouth 2-1. Let's prove them wrong!
  16. Hm, well we may be enlightened tomorrow...
  17. There is no logical reason why we can stay up. Just look at other lowly club's recent results. We are bottom level with Sheffield. While relegation rivals scrape draws, we don't. Our trouble is an exceptional mentality. Get real Players. Get real fans. If we can't dig out six drawers, we're down.
  18. Not Bright would be better.
  19. Very true. I just don't understand why some of our players lose concentration at critical times, particularly defenders, It really is a must win match. All teams above the bottom two could escape the drop, and in our frail state we are vulnerable to sliding further downwards. Not being pessimistic, just voicing reality, should some players approach games with complacent attitudes. Ralph, it's up to you.
  20. How about doing an 'arry and playing only academy players so as not to damage the first team's confidence?
  21. No,.too excessive. Saints play on the ground..
  22. We can hardly squeal that we lost so many games through the injuries of lots of key players, when we don't play our best team. Oh, I see what you mean , if we ship loads of goals we can plead that not everyone is available for two matches a week.
  23. "his strength and passing ability are big attributes" That's better, SC.
  24. Then we had better not concede an early goal, because we'll never get through their massed defence.
  25. This is not a relegation decider. But it will define our relegation status at this moment.
