  1. In a nutshell. Why I always think of Lowe and Titanic simultaneously. Complacent and catastrophic..
  2. I totally agree. The anti-Crouch spin was and is typical of Lowe's devious but cunning tactics, Just like the way he slithered into the club via the Reverse Takeover.
  3. lol. Best appraisal of all.
  4. And give Teflon Lowe another excuse to blame the fans, not himself.
  5. It is so self-defeating not to be in the stands supporting the team. Demo after, NOT during the match. The Spirit of Southampton must not die.
  6. Getting 90%+ approval from shareholders at the recent AGM, despite a vast majority of fans disapproving of him. How on earth did he manipulate That?
  7. A complete waste of a post alpine.
  8. This is not true. Lowe will not walk unless he loses an EGM vote, which isn't going to happen. Not even if Wilde (the root cause of our troubles and the only man who has enough votes to oust Lowe) calls for an EGM, and that will take weeks.. What has been missing is the Spirit of Southampton. We do need to fire this up if we are to be saved. And that means us the fans being there at matches. I want Lowe out as much as anyone, and right now. But sadly there is less likelihood of Lowe going than if we are relegated. We are stuffed. He has stitched us all up. Better to attend matches, but return to massed demos after (not during) the remainder of matches. Let the world know what we think.
  9. Today is the lowest point I have experienced since our relegation season 52/53. Then we won five matches at home. This season I cannot see us winning at home again having lost against Forest and Donny. Inept coaching by JP. Disastrous strategy by loser Lowe.
  10. Wilde - YOU got us into this mess. Now get us out of it. (You are the only one with the majority shares that can rid this club of the failure Lowe.) Then go yourself.
  11. Poortvliet out! Lowe out! This is a results game, Rupert, remember? You said it.
  12. It's a bit daft imo to have a poll for the B team before the A team.
  13. Don't tell everyone. We won't know if the next rise in SLH's share price will be PA returning or fans reading this GM.
  14. I'm going to stick my neck out, because with Saga back we have a more balanced strike-force, and we are due a decent win, so I am predicting a hat-trick for Saga and a 4-1 victory! Let's be positive! COYR!
  15. One disadvantage is his height, only 1.72 metres (5ft 7.5inches). We do need taller forwards who don't get brushed aside by heavyweight defenders. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrejs_Perepļotkins
  16. But a defeat will be disastrous.
  17. What would the crowds reaction be if we win?
  18. I thought the Tories recently claimed our national date was over 51% of GDP.
  19. If he came back there is a little matter of his relationship with Kelvin. They did not always get on and there were several mix-ups which caused a goal or two. Meanwhile Kelvin is enjoying the best form of his career. So there is no advantage in Chris coming back imo.
  20. I hope you are right. With Skacel currently suspended we are short of experience in the team for the crucial matches ahead.
  21. It probably means Saga is going to make way for Lupoli.
  22. Isn't he a bit short of height? We need a tough, tall striker who can head a ball over massed defences.
  23. He should come back to us on loan to regain his form. The trouble is he wouldn't be played in preference to someone from our Academy, or would he?
  24. Well, we will see on Saturday how the Mills of today compares with the Mills who played in our reserves. And how he compares with Lancashire. I doubt if he will score another own-goal though.
  25. Well, Kelvin has not been short of fitness to do his job well. Though presumably his pre-season training preceded Granger's arrival (correct me if wrong). In which case it is down to him. Perhaps the trouble is that the initiative to keep themselves fit lies with the players, and is not being sufficiently and proactively enforced by the trainers/coach. I agree with dubaiPhil; many of us commented when the Dutch dup arrived that although training was concentrating on ball control (successfully imo), not enough on fitness training. We had Pearson's and WGS's training methods in mind.
