  1. Salary cap? About time. (But will it happen?) The Football League (and the Premiership) have been fiddling (in more ways than one) while Rome burns, so to speak.
  2. Exactly. Who was the twit who let him go?
  3. But it is still worth re-iterating. Not everyone in the soccer world knows as much about us as we do. And it is correct. That's a rarity.
  4. Who would you prefer?
  5. The dye is cast. Momentum is with other clubs. Regrettably we have no choice other than to back who and what we have now to get us out of this mess. My jaundiced view of things has become that we will go on a winning unbeaten run, but Lowe will still go for administration out of spite, and so we go down on points deducted, not results. How ironic. Lowe you intend to do your worst, come what may.
  6. 1) Good 2) Are you sure that everyone on the march wants Wotte immediately sacked? 3) lol 4) You jest.
  7. Well, one thing we can guarantee. Lowe will blame 'absent' fans. Conveniently ignoring the reasons why there have been 5,000 fans less per match.
  8. And an admission that SFC have been signing players not as good as we already had?
  9. Grow up -some of your posts are very juvenile and in poor taste
  10. Mods: Please issue a statement disassociating the forum and its members from this threat to MW. Please also issue infractions to forum contributors who see this as an opportunity to make tastless jokes. Death threats are no laughing matter, and I do not wish to be associated with some of the juvenile comments made.
  11. Hardly a matter for gloating on. It is a shameful slur on all Saints fans, whoever is responsible. Wilde does not deserve this.
  12. A talent that WE have wasted. Shame on us.
  13. Great stuff
  14. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11289 So who is our best replacement?
  15. We are in no position to throw stones
  16. Not bad. A pity we haven't got Dyer who is much better than BWP on the right.
  17. But if no-one wants them, we will have their wage bills to pay again, which will be rubbing salt into our wounds if we end up in League 1 and would probably have stayed up if they had been playing for us this season. Ouch.
  18. Recall Dyer. Lallana isn't fit yet to play on the right and Holmes is injured. Not sure from reports if Molyneux is good enough or sufficiently match fit for RB, but can't think who else could do the job there.
  19. Deffo generalising.
  20. And recall Dyer to replace the injured Holmes on the right wing and we could have a decent side against Swansea.
  21. I didn't state a figure. I said they would be better. And with Crouch AND Pearson in charge we would be in a better league position.
  22. It was a decent side that got us to the play-offs, (despite some weird substitution decsions on GB's part imo). And gates were good. But by the time that Burley left we had acquired a very large, unwieldy squad that he didn't know how to use. Your point that gates would not be better under Crouch and Pearson than they are now is rubbish. But I agree we desperately need a whole new Board of different people.
  23. Why is it that when a player has a good match he has to be proclaimed a messiah or legend, and when he has played a bad match he has to be sh*t*? Because we are always right?

    Brace yourselves

You can always rely on other clubs to value the very talent we criticise.
  25. Thanks for the clarification. I hope Wotte has the vision to request he is brought back now that his form (and value) has improved, and Holmes is likely to be out for some time. It's all down to Lowe again.
