  1. Blimey. You've time to work?
  2. I would hope so. A wind-up is not worth less.
  3. A good point. Oh dear.
  4. Squashed imo by JP's refusal to play two strikers up front. Ok, we can never prove it might have made the difference, but I'm convinced it would have improved our chances of achieving a few more points. Saga's return has surely shown that the Board made an unforgivable mistake in shipping out ALL our experienced strikers at the beginning of the season. Does hindsite matter? Well, it's probably too late to save us now, but those in power have to start learning lessons for next season (which means admitting mistakes, Rupert, if you are still here.)
  5. I think this is all very positive. Whatever our current situation we must keep developing links with all sources that can continue to feed talent to us.
  6. It's not even snowing at Watford. They're scared of us!
  7. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/7873058.stm If the Board finally realised the importance of keeping our best players at this time, why the f*** didn't they understand this at the beginning of the season?
  8. Kelvin is the only player who has saved us from being mathematically relegated already. It is some here who are regressing to KD knocking. Shameful. Don't even think it. He is our only hope.
  9. (sorry, wrong thread)
  10. The weather up here in London is relatively warm and wet today, so I'm pessimistic that the match will take place. Still, got my ticket and once there I will revert to my insanely positive, noisy optimistic self. I feel that this is the year that Saints will achieve their second only ever win at Watford! That's football. (Edit. Written before the postponement was announced.) Bother. Theyr'e just scared of us, lol
  11. Unless it snows. If only it had snowed on Tuesday. And for every match this season. Then we would have had an equal chance of promotion resolved by a toss of a coin.. And Lowe would have been happy. He would have been able to enjoy his executive suite at SMS everyday without interuption. Instead of hiding away in his bunker.
  12. Thewre is an excellent alternative to Lowe. No Lowe. We couldn't be worse off helmless. Better than being deliberately steered onto the rocks.
  13. [quote=SaintDonkey;195896 Nice to know the fans are as incapable of learning from mistakes as the board are lol
  14. ZZZZZzzzzzzuzz
  15. I can't see a home win ahead for a long time. Perhaps more pertinently, if Saints go on a home win streak after relegation has been confirmed as a mathematical certainty, I will be very angry with frustration.
  16. Rubbish. There are plenty of reasons why poor management, poor tactics, poor team selections and substitutions have cost us vital points. As has been well documented on this site.
  17. Wotte's the difference?
  18. This old argument does not explain why Lowe bought five players who were not as good as the young players we already had, and have not been good enough for the first team.
  19. It's all about admitting mistakes. And then making considered attempts to rectify the situation. Rupert's appointments have been about his own agenda. Not what is best for football, which he doesn't understand.
  20. Lowe's appointment of Wotte was because Rupert, true to form, was unwilling to admit that his 'revolutionary new set-up' has been a total disaster. There was an an opportunity to appoint a proven experienced manager who knows what is needed at CCC level. Just like Crouch did last year. Crouch at least admitted his mistake in appointing from within when Burley left. Rupert has missed the boat. True, whoever had been appointed would have had to work with a squad severely weakened since a year ago. Wotte's biggest mistake though is to return to 'hoof and run' football, undoing the few footballing positives that JP had brought to the team. The team are now even more confused and disorganised. What a shambles. What a nightmare. Thank you Rupert. Lowe has been and always will be an unmitigated loser at this club.
  21. Can we afford that number of couches, Mark?
  22. But realistically do you actually think SFC could survive financially in League 1 with all our overheads?
  23. Do St Mary's Church still have a team?
