  1. You couldn't have been there. Pretty good. Ormerod nearly had us draw level in fact.
  2. Similar as at other clubs when times are tough, true. So what?
  3. 'Where were you when we were ****e?"
  4. We are NOT mathematically down. Nowhere near. Norwich are in almost as much difficulty as we are. And if we play as well as we apparently did against Brizzol (and we had opportunities to score) there is still hope. To give up imo is to insult the generations of Saints fans who had that fighting spirit. Are we wimps? So DEFINITELY NO DEMOS DURING MATCHES.
  5. Not true. The BBC do rotate both towns on the weather map, though I do grate when I see Portsmouth there.
  6. If SCC were to buy in, the club would not have a say as to who uses St Mary's - and the Dome.
  7. Surely Wilde would not get as much as he paid for the shares in the first place. Shares were selling at around 56p when he bought in. Now they are worth 17.5p. And must be worth less when we are in League 1. Lowe has already made a mint out of his involvement in the club, but he would only get the same price. The trouble is, only they know how close we are to administration. If that were to happen, then that would be the best time for the council to acquire the club, surely.
  8. Wotte is not the man to save Southampton Football Club. He, like his boss, is not a winner.
  9. A difficult one. This will be the second time that I will have seen Saints demoted to the third tier. I supported them then and in a small way always felt part of the struggle to claw our way back -which eventually happened. The difference then is that SFC was a local family club. Some of my pals were in the Southampton Boys team, and a few like Terry Paine made their way into the first team. Then loyalties were true and fast, and the young and experienced players stayed with the club. We had Ted Bates too. And determination. I cannot feel that happening with Lowe and Wilde in charge. They have succeeded in destroying Saints famous will to survive. But it will still be difficult not to continue to support Saints, which means going to matches. But we have to have something to believe in. My priority has to be to campaign to rid us of these traitors, these carpetbaggers who have destroyed something very precious. As I said loyalties remain true, and I guess they always will.

    Dyer

Because the majority of idiots on this forum say he is crap.
  11. But he was injured in the match and out for some time, wasn't he? Who can forget Blackstock in goal?
  12. Anyone know if Lowe and Wilde were at the match?
  13. Well Kelvin tried being a striker today.
  14. What purpose are corners? Why not have a round pitch? Football needs to be totally rethought.
  15. So much for our goalkeeper coaching skills.
  16. What's happened to Bart? He hasn't featured on the bench since he went to Poland a few weeks ago. Can he really be our third choice keeper now? Anyone know?
  17. 85.7% is not quite everyone. And some of us still believe in miracles.
  18. Rupert blames the fans shocker.
  19. Possibly?

    Discipline

His comments are spot on. But can he correct the lax culture within the club, and a lack of players' self-disciplinary skills, that has bean prevalent at St Mary's? This is the real test, and he has the next few matches to prove it. This could be an important key to avoiding erratic performances and escaping relegation imo.
  21. Making past mistakes may not be relevant, provided one can reflect and learn from them. Mary and Crouch probably have this ability. Lowe and Wilde do not.
  22. lol All in due course (both)
  23. True, I would have liked more than one question, but I don't think that could be possible. We certainly need to revisit this closer to the mid-March deadline. We have to hypothetise, meanwhile.
  24. The plan is good. Is it ever too late?
  25. So, Mark, is the global recession the cause of our troubles?
