Mary Corbett felt "threatened" and "physically intimidated" by Lowe
eelpie replied to jonah's topic in The Saints
Apparently according to The NSPCC you can. -
Without Lowe, his half baked ideas and his demoralising, divisive influence, we will have a decent chance of doing quite well imo. Although JP was unable to put together enough wins, a few of the younger players have matured, and gained valuable experience, Lloyd James for example. Wotte has a few more matches to prove his capabilities too.

Did you realise how much in common you have with alps?

It probably was over-stating it, jonah, but there is such a thing as 'non-physical violence'. We all know that Lowe is quite capable of losing his cool. , -
Well Cardiff could only draw this weekend against an off-form Wolves, despite a long line of wins, so perhaps the table will lie again. But a draw is realistic. 2-2

136 miles round trip from SW London - and despite everything is worth every mile. But I can't make Tuesday evening matches cos of work, so I'm no longer a SST holder.

I was in Block Four with a very clear view of his clearance. The ball was heading straight for goal. How Lloyd managed to get to the ball and flick it sideways inches off the line was quite awesome skill. Well done.

This isn't the first time there have been bad relations between Rupert Lowe and the Echo. It was the case in premiership days. I was never exactly sure what that was about though.

It is something many of us have been only too aware of for some years.

Most of us were saying this with foresight.

Crowd pressure.

In a nutshell.

Mehinks you protesteth too much

Clearly, Pearson was able to galvanise players and supporters to the common cause. Wotte hasn't achieved this.

So they can't count. And they think they were qualified to save the clubs finances. -
Protest stage 2: February 21st, meeting at bargate again.

Destroyed us. -
Well, being of the generation that supported Saints last time we were relegated to the third tier - and we clawed our way back too - and with family connections that go back to two years from the birth of the original St Mary's church team, there is no question for me that Saints football club (whatever name it re-emerges as) can ever be extinguished. Whatever it takes, the club must be resurrected. Count me in.

Saints 0 - 2 Preston sadly

Interestingly Brizzol are listed there with four defenders, Saints just two! (despairing lol)

Fair do's. Sounds familiar. I wasn't at the match and quoted from comments by those who were. Probably to love SFC is to be blind. We all suffer from frustrated optimism. And swing between hope, despair - and (that time we won at home) temporary respite. Edit: But referring to the stats below ( http://soccernet.espn.go.com/match?i...=ENG.2&cc=5739 ) we had 16(9) shots on goal, so by your reckoning there must have been 14 in the second half. Still, not much good if they don't go into the nets.

One example is hardly proof. Good on your grandad. That was in the days when fans did not give up, like today.

No, I am asking everyone not to demonstrate during the game. Don't over-react. And that is not my name. Were you at the Bristol match? I wasn't, but I was surprised that several posters who were there said that Saints actually played quite well (apart from the the finishing). And it is not realistic to throw in the sponge before it really is the end. That imo is pathetic. You would be the first to criticise the players when they do that (as they have too often.) Demonstrating during the match will not get Lowe out any more than demonstrating outside the ground and after the match.

You are entitled to your view Stu, but is Saints Trust actually doing any harm? I'm no longer a member, but I can't see what there is to complain about of anyone trying to come up with proposals to try to move forward from the stalemate of a mess we are in. I don't care if their proposals are made by a cabal. Or anyone. All ideas, including yours, no matter how impractical they may seem add to the debate. And they are no dafter than other suggestions proposed on this site.

Fair comment. And true. We have been spoilt. And I do remember SFC in Div 3 South. It will take time, guts and commitment. It is time we stopped crying.
