Speaking from an 'appalled with Lowe' perspective, it is pointless imo for anti-Lowes to purposely stay away out of principal for the next critical games if they can attend. Surely Saints in the CCC next season is what we all believe in.
-
We have been consistently erratic and I see no reason why this will change. I would have given us a 30% chance of surviving if the team always gave off their best, but too often they are out of sorts to start and then chasing to save the game. Sorry. Keep on fighting lads whilst there is ANY hope, because we are relying on Notts Forest, Norwich and Plymouth to implode, and you never know. But I fear Lowe has really fooked us up good and proper.

Pathetic. Our travelling fans have been terrific, but this was stupid and moronic. Brett has been a loyal servant for Saints and always ran his socks off, scoring some crucial goals too, not least the one that got us to the Cup Final.

Has JP not leaving earlier cost us our championhip status?
eelpie replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Foolish to appoint JP. Foolish to have kept him. Lowe has terminally meddled with our future to satisfy his own schoolboy fantasy footie experiments. Lowe truly is the MD from hell. -
I have been there several times and the atmosphere gendered by the home fans and ours at The Madjeskii is far more exciting than at SMS. And the evidence is that Reading have clearly benefited far more from playing in their stadium than we have by playing in SMS. At SMS it's the opposition that benefits. Not that The Madjeski is the issue. (It is just an example of a better design, which incidentally generates income from it's built-in hotel). The issue is that RL missed a trick in not seeking fans opinions as to what sort of stadium they wanted after The Dell.
-
Sorry mate, SMS has never been able to resonate the atmosphere of The Dell. Too laid back, too relaxing, too comfortable. Madjeski knew what he was doing when he built Reading's stadium. Steep high stands overlooking the pitch, with a terrific atmosphere. Rupert should have consulted the fans before buying the SMS flat pack.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/7953616.stm Not really Saints related I know, but it is of general interest to know that the caravan will remain in-situ. I have good and bad memories of being there. The best was the 'inflatable haddocks'. The worst was Killer's injury that afternoon, and the defeat that imo began our slide out of the Premiership. Any stories?

Anyone know where I can buy 'Lowe Out' gas masks?

Rupert 'Frank Spencer' Lowe lol

...and a manager to be in control, rather than a coach who plays the team that the MD selects.

There's sewage leaking from a sinking tanker at Woolston near the mouth of the Itchen. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/berkshire/7954704.stm Well perhaps we can get acclimitised to it, and hopefully it will put off visiting teams, lol.

How much did we get for Best, anyone? I thought it was £750,000 thanks to the tribunal. Dyer is worth more.
-
Do you have the figures, or are you just guessing?

I do hope that we are beginning to emerge from financial disaster. However I cannot see how we are going to avoid it next season when in League 1 with our Premiership-style overheads. My head tells me we have left it too late to avoid relegation this season. So, if we end up in administration next sesson Lowe will have made the biggest gaffe of his very fallible career at SLH.

Does training include the pre-match nightclub binge?
-
I'm wondering if Joseph Mills will be playing for us next season. I hope so, but he's doing well on loan with promotion chasing S****horpe, so it's not impossible that he could be playing for them in the Championship next season, while we are languishing in League 1! How ironic that would be. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11521

That's about it.

Kelvin, Saga, Size and the guys who organised the protest marches because for a brief few games the marches jolted the players and Wotte out of their indemic complacency.

There is no point in having a fans Parliament if reps are not democratically elected. There doesn't seem to be a process for doing this, as far as I can tell, and the fans are variously split into all the various Forums, The Saints Trust, Season Ticket holders, and the club Members who pay for matches on the day, some not belonging to any group. If the selection is to be done by Wild and Lowe it will not be representatitive, and the project will be doomed to fail. So how best to elect the 'Parliamentariums'?

On Saturday they were ran all over the place but were mentally, not physically, tired. They were tactically uninspired, and lacked a playmaker and leader from the midfield forwards. Hoofing against stonewalling defences is pointless. Our defence is working well. But we must score goals against teams who are determined to draw. This is the situation that we are now in. We did it a few weeks ago. So it can be done. There was no excuse for Saturday's performance against QPR. This is down to the coach.

Inhaling other's cigarette smoke -even in the street - gives me immediate asthma which is very disconcerting and unpleasant, and my illness is not even chronic. Others are less fortunate.
-
Someone please tell the coach and players. Rally in the streets guys. They don't seem to be up for it if we don't set the example like we did last month.

How about mud-wrestling for charity?

It surely is no coincidence that our best results this season have been at the time of the marches/protests outside the ground. Complacency has returned.
