  1. When they eventually go into administration they will claim that their holding company actually IS Arkadi Gaydamak. What will the PL say? "Ok, that's alright then - no points deduction." (ironic lol)
  2. That's the Kingsland Stand leaving early.
  3. Inevitable. But not a patch on our own gallows humour.
  4. He does think he can walk on water.
  5. Who would want to stay away? It's like walking out of the film 'Terminator' before the end.
  6. What do you think?
  7. "Not my fault" has been the club's motto for too long. From top to bottom.
  8. I heard they had deferred them.
  9. Yep. Rupert has copyright on smug.
  10. Lowe and Wilde had absolutely no right to play Russian Roulette with our club. They could easily have gone to administration the week earlier. Period.
  11. Good choice Scott. I believe the rest just got fed up with being told to run around in ever decreasing circles to no effect by different guv'nors.
  12. So did many of us on this and other forums Rupert and Wilde should be sued imho
  13. Well, they have two last chances.
  14. Mark Fry's red and white army!
  15. This is no place for positivity
  16. But if we were a bank our toxic assets would be nationalised and the good bits would be saved for the company..
  17. Mawhinny is a Thatcherite. He has no qualms about destroying, rather than helping, failing companies, so s*d the workers and the fans. He'll be telling us to get on our bike and support another club next.
  18. I bet tomorrow morning's papers will be undecided as to when the points are to be deducted. Some may give us 34 points from now. Some may wait until after the last match. Typical of the vagaries of FL rules. Nobody seems to know them. They rely on backtracking to 'grey areas'. I would rather the club was sold as a CCC club, even now, optimistic fool that I am, even with the probable relegation but with no points deducted next season.. We CAN beat over-confidant Burnley and c**ky Notts Forest. It will do wonders for our morale, and improve our worth to the prospective buyers. (I doubt that due diligence can be concluded before the end of season anyway. But yes selling the club is the No 1 long term priority))
  19. Hopefulyl our zilcher value may make us cheaper to buy.
  20. Stu will be pleased.
  21. They're called League 2 and lower.
  22. ... as I see it, in this order:- 1. Avoid relegation before points deduction. Don't laugh, we are not mathematically down yet and we want the 10 points deducted at the END of this season, not at the beginning of next, don't we? We CAN win the next two matches. So get behind the team on Saturday. 2. Survive (financially) till the last match against Notts Forest. This will mean that the FL will not remove us from any Football League competition next season. That means packing St Mary's on Saturday! (And the club need to tell us how much is needed.) 3. Attract a buyer - because we are worth it! So no silly pitch invasions on Saturday - and hope... 4. Other summer options (to be clarified) Meanwhile six points is what we need! We can beat Burnley. We can beat Forest!
  23. Come now, they are only bankers.
  24. We have to accept it. The FL always wins. But we could sue Barclays or Lowe or both for not doing their homework re the March deadline.
