  1. Surely your not suggesting the team were out clubbing the night before
  2. And what about the Reserves/Academy coach (I can't remember his name) that was put on gardening leave this season? And never heard of again.
  3. A massive thanks to Kelvin from me. He saved us many points. Without him our goals deficit would really be embaressng.
  4. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=12654
  5. According to Wikepedia, who do get it right sometimes, the subsidiary companies of SLH are or were the following: "The wholly owned subsidiary companies of Southampton Leisure Holdings PLC are: Southampton Football Club Ltd St. Mary's Stadium Ltd St. Mary's SPV Ltd Southampton Insurance Services Ltd Southampton Mortgage & Financial Centre Ltd Saints Supporters Club Ltd Southampton Swaylife Ltd Secure Retirement Ltd Dell Estates Ltd St Michael's Street Homes (No. 1) Ltd Stadium 2000 Ltd Felix Broadcasting Ltd South City FM Ltd Forest FM Ltd" Are any of these still actually listed, were they ever, or did they bite the dust, like other Lowe attempts to make money did. Or could they be where the missing £40 million went? Just a thought.
  6. So Lowe didn't have any impact on the overall wage bill then.
  7. Sorry , can you change the spelling. mods? And Title to to 'Inform.. etc
  8. How about renaming the Away Stand the 'Three Points Stand'? and the Stadium 'Never Say Die' Stadium
  9. Isn't it time we let Mark Fry know why any consortium that involved Lowe and Askham hidden inside it is totally unacceptable, and why? Is this worth a poll and sticky, mods? I think so. Can you devise one? And how many would sign a petition?
  10. Of course. Southampton till I die. (Whichever League we are in). But not while there is still hope for (a lowe free!) SFC
  11. I would welcome back ex-Saints when we are a non-League club - which looks increasingly likely.
  12. Yep. And made worse following the pitch invasion and crowd bovver.
  13. Lowe could never save SFC. He would take us remorselessly deeper into trouble. I would lose interest in any club he was involved in, and would prefer to support a splinter non-league Saints. In the long run, this team would improve and pass Lowe's club going in the opposite way - down, down, downwards. He could never attract a paying public into St Mary's. The man is a pariah.
  14. Police crowd control has never ben refined when there are opposing groups. Their tactics are to identify one group and go for them. So one side is seen by them as villain. (For instance their attitude to climate-change groups and their recent attempts to bribe one climate-change supporter into spying for them.) On Saturday our stupid so-called supporters went onto the pitch and some confronted the Burnley stand. The Burnley lot didn't go onto the pitch. Simple.
  15. Who goes, who stays - and more pertinently, who returns?
  16. Wasn't that wally Wilde's fault for distancing himself? My memory is hazy of the sequence of events that led to Hone gaining the control that the naaive Wilde had not envisaged..
  17. Uncertainty as the whether we will get further fines for the alledged pitch invasion, non-cooperation/appeal may yet put buyers off.
  18. Then we're doomed to being taken over by a gun-runner and tax-dodger.
  19. But weren't we complaining that Rupert was not a fan, and therefore had no right to be director of this club?
  20. Nor has Lowe.
  21. It seems that Pompey fans are treating Northam Away as their home patch now.
  22. We could see there were more than one Pompey fans in the Burnley crowd from the Itchen North. This was one reason why the Saints fans were even more incensed than they would have been imo.
  23. Then why do the match officials announce " The match will be played for a MINIMUM of four minutes."?
  24. The ref shook hands with a Saints player first. It will be evident on the match video.
  25. It will depend on the FL's interpretation of the rules. We all know they are an unbiased and credible organisation, and I have full confidence in Mr Mahwhinny's fair and impartial judgement, especially after he has consulted with the rest of the league clubs, who will want the best for Southampton Football Club.
