It was half-dutch football really. If the hapless Poortvliet had not (by Lowe's dictat) persisted in playing one inexperienced striker in front of a midfield that could hardly cross the half-way line I believe that we would not have won more home matches. But history would have been different. I am happier to be in League 1 without Lowe than in the Championship for another tortuous year with Lowe.

Our squad is not yet really suitable for the League 1 hustle and bustle and needs to be rebuilt. We are going to have to weather many more upsets before we claw our way back to the Championship.
