Saints are rarely fit for a minor skirmish!!..how they suddenly become warriors is an interesting concept!! As for "heavy artillery"...........thats a joke..........is it suggesting major "bombardment" of oppositions goals?...........because if so, the opposition will sneak round the back and scupper General Wotte.........to the post mortem comments of " I don't understand how we lost that battle.........we were by far the better organised!!"
-
Bottom line is Saints need a winning run til the end of the season and frankly its not gonna happen..........there is no will to win or spirit with these no hopers.........relegation will be sealed before the end of march............other teams are scrapping for results.......... Saints don't have that in their character.........could look very dire by 5pm on Saturday!
-
Le Tiss is an absolute legend as a player......... rarely do playing legends end up as successful managers at their former clubs........he is comfortable at Sky and I very much doubt he would be mad enough to take anything to do with the present regime or any future one!
-
Saints 0-3 Preston..........the straw that breaks the camel back!
-
It will make little difference to these no hopers what is coming from the stands............the encouragement they have received so far this season has hardly raised a whimper of determination so what are they going to do if it gets more negative?........walk off with their toys!?? Frankly, they should know by now that what is happening on and off the pitch is unacceptable and a laughing stock within football.......Any "team" worth its salt would knuckle down and say "Lets show them we can do it" if things got negative...........I think, from previous experience of this crew that will not happen.................in fact I know it will not happen........
-
Whatever league any side play in.......they need all the qualities that Saints have none of......will to win, fitness, team spirit, enthusiasm, grit, determination........and many more attributes..............I sense this "team" are not together, but several bits pulling in different directions............ can't blame them really, the whole club is rudderless so why should the team be any different?
-
Agree that Davis has more than done his bit.........the rest are also rans, and the so called "strike force" quite probably the most inept, insipid bunch of so called footballers that have ever worn the shirt............simply awful.......they have no will power or spirit, thus will meekly submit to Division 3.......sad but true!
-
Bristol C 3-0 Saints .......followed by the usual OS rallying call!!
-
I suppose he has to say positive things, but everyone has seen through the drivel spoken and written on the OS a long time ago........ there is a sense of helplessness amongst Saints followers which tests the most enthusiastic and positive brain! Everyone knows its complete tosh......and come the end of March, by which time relegation in all probability will be confirmed, maybe some honest reality will start to appear.......but I for one doubt it........
-
As a realist......relegation is a highly likely outcome for a rudderless, passionless bunch of non performers.........the mention of Saints going on any sort of "run" is laughable........unless of course you mean a run of totally inept defeats!! Winning "runs" and Saints are never whispered in the same breath! It just NEVER happens!!
-
None of the attributes required for a survival fight appear to be present in this sorry shower.........at least last season the manager was a fighter......and the players somehow baled us out on the last day............this year there appears to be none of the needed grit, determination, graft, will to win, desire, and sheer "roll the sleeves" up and hard work attitude necessary to survive in ANY league of football, which is why, without some severe changes the position next year in Division 3 will be exactly the same.........only that more fans will have drifted away to other pursuits and it will be very hard to get them back...........one way ticket i'm afraid!!
-
Nobody wants to go and watch weak, passionless, goal less defeats every fortnight.........the slide will continue into a figure of about 10,000 to 12,000 hardcore supporters........ unsustainable and will force change....... however that manifests itself
-
Its just not going to happen with this shower
-
To be honest, in the 3rd division the crownd would probably be about 11,000 at home games if that!
-
18p a share, surely now the time is right!!
egreog replied to thorpie the sinner's topic in The Saints
If there is somebody daft enough to throw his/her millions into a football club , they will wait until administration, not pay a premium for an ailing organisation........so the true picture will only become known in that event..........probably won't be long before we find out!! -
Just put the club into administration and take the medicine........the pattern is so predictable.........what will the OS come out with?. Wotte come out with?.........the poor lackey that is posted to the OS come out with?........its all so very obvious and sad...........the whole thing remains rotten with no hope of progress in the current scenario..........sooner the creditors realise it the better for everyone
-
Saints 0 - 1 Sheff Utd
-
I expected nothing from Norwich and Swansea.........so 2 points is a bonus......... however, based on previous form I also expect nothing from the next two games........and that is the acid test.........can the side continue where they left off today and win at home?..........or drift back into the ineptitude that defines Saints in recent months............... Tuesday will tell, but I wouldn't bet on it!!
-
Hang around and the price will soon be £100.........why?.....because £400 is a rip off to associate your business with a **** product..........who in their right mind would want to??
-
Flattered to deceive........the warnings were there from Hearts supporters when we signed him..........so no real surprise he's moving on...........just another of football's mercenary individuals, who will no doubt join another club and say "this is a great move for me" and spout the other usual drivel to satisfy the tabloid press........ then fade away yet again
-
I would credit Crouch with having a great deal of common sense..........in which case he won't throw millions at a football club!! Hopefully he watched Sir Alan Sugar on BBC documentary to get an idea of the "benefits" of making such a move!!
-
They have both failed to fulfill early season promise.....but they may well go in the next few days when Saints desperately need the money and are left with no choice to sell at budget price
-
Has to be a big ZERO.........nothing really has changed.......can't the team getting a big lift from Wotte....... in fact can't see them getting a lift from anyone!!
