I can’t see that we’d start with 3 at the back tomorrow if 2 of our 5 senior centre backs are playing today. Suggests a 4 to me. The issue will be if Salisu is the lb instead of Perraud or KWP

I’d hope to see something like this: Baz Bree/KWP DCC Salisu Perraud/KWP Lavia Alcaraz Edozie JWP Orsic Adams/Mara I really can’t be sure what’s coming though. Can’t see Lyanco being dropped even though I think he should. Suspect Armstrong will start for his pace and work rate which I don’t mind. Alcaraz or Diallo? I don’t really mind but Alcaraz is clearly the better footballer so let’s play him and get him used to the league. Adams just scored so let’s hope he finds a little run of goals and we can always whip big Paul on later.

Wasn’t a concern when we played KWP and Tino together. At least we had two full backs who could get up and down and offer threat going forwards. With Salisu we don’t get that and become very one sided.

Could be useful to have him here on the right and KWP on the left. Maybe we’ll get back some balance. Would work in a 4231 or a 343 as well. welcome and 🤞

That was a dire game of football that I had resigned to being 0-0 after about half an hour. Villa were better than us with the ball but I didnt think we were overly troubled. If our goals stands, which I believe it should, I think we hold on to win. Bazunu was poor again. Gap between midfield and forwards was too big today and we lost everything in there. Referee was appalling.

I think they might. It cannot be helpful as a player to have fans chasing your vehicle and verbally abusing you after games.

Everton have really not been a lot of trouble. I thought we were defending well. Now we’re chasing again.

In most of the games we’ve lost we had more shots and more corners, even more possession against forest. Did we therefore deserve to win those? Or we’re we not playing shite?

As much as I’m pleased to see this, it makes no sense. Buying talented youngsters who’ve learned at city, hire DOF from city but have a manager who plays the opposite style of football…

I’m hoping that the signing of Orsic means that we’ll stick with 433 so that he can play one side of Adams (or a new striker) with Edozie on the other.

Trying to take some positives… Edozie is quality and must play. Diallo needs to go. The diamond of JWP, Aribo, Elyo and stu worked for a period of time (albeit short) Lavia still to return Otherwise that sucked

I think that’s a matter of opinion. He’s clearly getting across a couple of points, get the ball forward (penetrate), do it quickly and fucking well enjoy yourselves! I really don’t see why people are so negative on here. Every coach has their own style and people learn in different ways. Suggesting that someone isn’t engaged because of your interpretation of their body language is absurdly simplistic.
