  1. Are those night storage heaters? Just to keep costs down as much as possible and ensure no impact on the champagne and tablecloth budget
  2. Pretty certain a scroll back through the forum would bring up the same debate, already hashed over, to which you could have contributed
  3. I would imagine Plymouth will be there or there abouts. They were last season and are just behind Luton in terms of average attendances.
  4. Doing the same when Chicago come to Toronto!
  5. I would hope that we could wrap up the tie at the first leg and give Reed and some of the others a run out in the second leg along with getting game time to those who still need it.
  6. This. There is still enough dross at this stage of the competition to wish we had avoided one of the potentially better opponents, especially with the start of the PL looming. Sure, we'll have to beat better teams but look at Aberdeens potential tie against Alashkert of Armenia or FC Kairat from Kazakhstan. Would have rather played any of those three!
  7. He stands just over five foot three, Jordy Jordy He’ll take us to the Champions League, Jordy, Jordy He's wears the shirt of Schneiderlin, He's Dutch and he hates pompey much, Jordy Clasie, Southampton’s midfield machine Not bad if I do say so myself!
  8. Capital one cup, FA cup, league + injuries. I think they know what they're doing!
  9. I was surprised to see nobody mentioned this monster deal: Portsmouth have agreed a deal to bring winger Ben Tollitt to the club from non-league Skelmersdale United.

  11. Why would they claim that he is two different heights?
  12. Somebody has already changed his wiki page and designated him the number 2 shirt!
  13. That article is complete fit. Sounds a lot like the kind of nonsense Paul Sturrock used to get up to for pre season!

Sky sports transfer centre reporting that the Athletico president wants the deal done by the end of Sunday
  15. This. The only wonder moment he ever produced and it came when I'd decided to whip my shirt of and twirl it around my head. Felt like the absolute knob I am!
  16. I hope we have a some good CB cover if he makes the move to Palace. Would completely condone a Fonte red card in such circumstances.
  17. No dispute about who I'd rather have but 15m is a huge sum of money, particularly given QPRs perilous financial position and undoubted need to cut costs (I read 195% of their turnover was spent on wages!)
  18. I am so ITK it's unreal
  19. It's not relevant because it doesn't give you a reflection of the players contribution or ability. Does Sergio Aguero's lower shot conversion ratio mean that City should be looking at him and Bony (conversion ratios of 0.14 and 0.12 respectively) as weaker than their opponents strikers? Despite Aguero notiching 21 non penalty goals last season is he in fact less valuable than Cisse would be? Of course not. Then take into account different leagues, different opponent standards, different numbers of games played and you don't get an accurate reflection. Aguero had a goals to shots ratio of 0.34, Sakho 0.4, that doesn't give a real reflection of what those two players are capable of or worth to their respective clubs.
  20. How about because if shot conversion is a sensible measure of a players worth then Nacer Chadli, Pa**** Cisse and Mame Diouf all had better seasons than Sergio Aguero
  21. This article is hoodwinking at it's very best! No actual numbers but says they are on par with this time last year. This time last year they could have sold 3000 season tickets so being on a par would mean they are still around 8000 short of last year. What a transparent business operation!
  22. What unnecessary pedantry. But thanks for saving the other forum users from my accurate information with a link that confirmed what I'd said already.
  23. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33062532 You'll get one of our games for free, maybe more if we're setting it alight!
  24. Love the goal away at Fulham. Lambert with an unbelievable ball finished off by a cracking strike. Remember going mental about that goal having had a few shandys and a bloody good day out in London.
