I don't see how this is any different to coaches from clubs working with national teams during the international breaks. He's a highly respected hockey guy with loads of experience and success to his name. Can't help in terms of promoting our 'brand' in North America and is a one off opportunity which won't damage his work with the club, I certainly don't think it's a loss of interest in his current role, just a great opportunity to take up.

I wouldn't get overly worked up. The North American sports networks cater to 'fans' of the big 4, Liverpool, Spurs, Barca and Real. Every time I watch saints they highlight our key men and, should there be a transfer rumour running about the player, they mention it and highlight how the player will have ambitions to play in the champions league and win trophies.
