  1. https://twitter.com/FCUnitedMcr/status/663830393116823552 Some clubs have common sense it seems....
  2. Accrington Stanley draw every teams cup final in the second round.
  3. Pot. kettle. Black.
  4. The new signings only gone and done it: "It's not often that such a big club wants you to play for them and I'm determined to take advantage of that," he told Portsmouth's website. I'd suggest Sheffield United are the bigger club of the two, but evidently not the bestest
  5. I don't think that's an entirely fair judgment. Look at his stats and yes, he's short of Davis, Mane and Tadic but not much and doesn't play with the regularity or attacking instruction of the others. I'm sure Davis' game must influence JWP and an only help his future options for us.
  6. Lies and slander. Toronto is an incredible place but obviously won't compare with the fall beauty of countryside areas. Perhaps venture north of Toronto into the lakes in future, then you'll see more beautiful sights.
  7. Dislike
  8. Woeful second half. Just terrible. Ref hasn't helped but it's our own fault. None of our midfield 3 have had any time or control of the ball.
  9. That James Ward Prowse, his deliveries are no good and he doesn't;t influence games eh?
  10. Sadly, for me, this is exactly what is wrong with English football. Let's pick the athlete over the technically proficient. I would rather have ball playing, technical players than Delph, Henderson e.t.c leading our midfield. But hey, look at Spain and Germany and it's clear to see that size, speed and strength are all you need...
  11. Saints are well known in the Toronto area. The MLS team here is everybody's second team anyway. Go to the game and people are there in Juve, Milan, Utd, City e.t.c jerseys as well as Toronto. Because of the high amount of Europeans there is a strong knowledge of football and we are well respected for our ability to compete, play good football and produce talent. I'm sure that will be part of our strategy going forwards into the North American markets as the 'Southampton way' promotional stuff shows.
  12. Given that the 2013/14 financial figures were only released in March you're going to have a hard time finding any announcement about them yet. As with many thing in life, and often Saints, patience is a virtue
  13. Smoking the good stuff today?
  14. Which one?!
  15. There's no exclusivity attached to it. It's not like being English and also supporting Brazil. If it came to a head to head, and it has, I always support Saints but there's nothing that stops you having a keen eye elsewhere for personal reasons.
  16. It works in that I was born in Romsey, had a season ticket at Saints and support them. They are my team. I went to uni in Plymouth and got a season ticket for two seasons, why wouldn't I? I wanted to watch football on Saturdays, now I keep an eye out for them and am keen for them to do well, especially as they are up against Portsmouth. I moved to Canada and now Toronto are my closest team. I go and watch them play and get behind them, why not?
  17. Plymouth Argyle - had a season ticket there during uni. Toronto FC - my new 'home' team. I went along to their game at the weekend and it is the strangest atmosphere. It's like they are everyone's second team, people there in Juve shirts, Barca shirts, Utd shirts. Very unusual.
  18. Like the way you transitioned my light hearted joke comment into something else through pedantry, can happen anywhere in a thread.
  19. No no no, we play with quick transitions! It sounds so much more stylish than on the break!
  20. With 'quick transitions' being the current vogue in the Premier League I can see the front 4 from the MK Dons working for us away from home.
  21. The only way to make this work is to introduce salary capping so that everyone has an equal opportunity and the bigger clubs cannot horde talent. It will therefore, never work.
  22. Spoken like a true Chelsea fan on the Paris metro
  23. I'm going to play Moorgate under the quintet convention rule. For those new to the game that means no loops or doubles to follow and no stations which contain links (however tenuous) to Moors or Gates on pain of a jolly good telling off.
  24. Look at our teams stats and what will you find... Ward Prowse and Davis are two of our three most accurate passers with 87 and 86% respectively (Romeu being the other) Perhaps you should rely on tangible data instead of what people on here think
