Apologies for going back to the original post, but i do worry about some fans expectations of our new players. Whilst everyone is entilted to their own opinion, judging someone after 2 games is a tad hasty. I would suggest waiting at least till Christmas. It took Wanyama and, to some extent Forster, quite some time to make the step up from the Scottish league. Watch a fair bit of La Liga and he has always impressed me, admittedly he normally comes on when Madrid are winning comfortably, but still. I think a loan move to a Championship team that is expected to be challenging for promotion, is a good and sensible step in a young players development. We can't expect players to go from under 21's and a handful of Prem appearances straight into a Prem starter. Players who can do that are the exception, not the norm. If you look at the likes of Chelsea and even maybe Man U, they have a clear step in their development process where a player goes out on loan.
