Send the little ****er to Afghanistan......

Typical fickle Saints fans - only happy when having something to moan about. We're top of the league, playing some of the best football seen for the last 20 years, investing in the club, the playing squad and the academy, have the most progressive chairman we have ever been fortunate enough to have at the club yet people still want to moan and drag up some unsubstantiated scandal. What is wrong with you people? Cast your mind back 2 and a bit years when we very nearly didn't have a club. Short memories....

The Nigel Adkins end of season promotion - appreciation thread
tommi replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
Very underwhelmed with his appointment but he has jone a fantastic job. I don't remember watching a saints side and feeling so confident of the end result. His situation experience has proven invaluable in the last few weeks, I really hope he can go on and continue what he has started next season. Tonight I hope he, the players and staff enjoy a few drinks and reflect on what they have achieved together. Absolutely fantastic. -
All sold apparently - tried that one already! If anyone has 3 spare tickets or knows of any please email me tommit@gmail.com Thanks

Hi, tommit@gmail.com Many thanks
-
Hi, did you sell the tickets you have?
-
I'll take all 3 - name your price...
-
Results definitely gone our way today. Need to make sure we pickup 3 points tonight.

You can improve a squad simply by adding to it. The only way to improve a team is by adding better players.

RIP Deano - an absolute mountain for us during his all too brief spell. Condolences to his family and friends. 36 is way too youg to die.

Why oh why didn't we sign CMS? The best and most dangerous player on the pitch. Still a centre back and central midfielder away from being a very good team....

Multiple fractures to right leg, arm and hand. Currently undergoing surgery

Yes, missed out massively, have been watching them since 6p last year. Never had the funds at the right time to get in. Still lots of potential - the market generally moves further than you imagine yet i can't bring myself to buy at the moment! Missed a good buying opportunity briefly last week. BLVN is another, need to break 400p then they will be worth a look, have some great prospects for this year.... Good luck in whatever you do
-
It was way back on the 1st page with Glasgow Saint. Don't worry, in at 27p will still look very, very cheap in 12 months time... DPL - bit of a risk but with the news thats likely to come I can see 10-12p in the next 6 months or so. The hardest thing will be buying at the right time, sub 6p dive in, sub 7p is still a good deal. Good luck Tommi

You finally looked into it then? What price did you get in at? I have been in NYO since 9p :-) http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?25799-Shares&p=873436#post873436 Take a look at DPL - moderate risk but lots of potential to come in the next 12 months. Have been in since 3.5p One to hold, not to trade as when the news breaks it will fly. Cheers Tommi

Not outside my house no, are yours?!

Acid rain appears to have stopped too!

I'm not sure we will see such a dramatic rise as SOLG but the potential is definitely there for all to see. I think the next jorc update will take us past 2.5m oz and the price past 23p - I'd be very happy with that before Christmas! Q1 next year could be huge :-) Good luck
-
I'm heavily into NYO and cannot believe how cheap they are at the moment. The next 6 - 12 months is going to be monumental. Cheers Tommi P.S. This is not a recommendation for you all to go away and buy lots of NYO shares, take a look, do some research, if you like what you see join the club.

I love my shirt too, probably one of the best shirts I have owned. Quality wise it's 2nd to none.

We used to go to a place called El Elias (I think) Looked like the cafe from Ello Ello from the outside but the food was always fantastic (and the place was always packed) Haven't been for a few years. So not sure if it's still around or run by the same family. KD used to be a frequent visitor in his SFC days, I remember seeing him in there a couple of times.

Not the greatest decision but I'm sure there's far more to this than a poor start to the season. One thing for sure, Cortese will not tollerate 2nd best for too long - some trusted posters on here mentioned that Pardew was not his 1st choice. I really hope Mr Cortese can now attract the manager he really wants to run this club.

I'm truly shocked and still cannot quite believe what has happened. It's so sad in so many ways, naturally my deepest heartfelt condolences to his family and friends, such a bitter sweet feeling, he saved our beloved club not only with money but a deep sense of pride, satisfaction and love yet will never get to see the real fruits of his labour. I hope his legacy lives on for many years to come, a sad sad day for football and an absolutely terrible day for Southampton Football Club. Markus may you rest in peace as the true Saint that you are. A legend, who will never be forgotten.

You can try and dress it up however you like, the bottom line is that they have got away with it. (as predicted by a small minority on here and ridiculed by the in house experts..)
-
I really hope not!
